This Festive season switch up how you make your chicken stew. Chicken stew is a Kenyan Christmas.
Ingredient List
1/2 kg of Chicken
3/4 tsp of black pepper
1 tsp of paprika
1 juicy lemon
1/2 tbsp of garlic powder
For the stew you'll need
1 onion
2 tomatoes diced
Sprigs of Rosemary
Sprigs of Cilantro (Dania)
Diced stems of the Cilantro
3/4 tsp of cumin spice
3/4 tsp of black pepper
2 tsps of garlic powder
4 cloves of garlic
1 tsp heap of tomato paste

Don’t throw away your lemon and orange peel.dry them and put them in a container.you can grind them and make drinks,face masks,season your meal..u can just drop them whole into you sauces or meat stew.🌺🙏🌹or grind mix with water and mint, ice and make a nice fresh cold drink

Looks like we shop at the same store, just added the tiny board to my kitchen. Anyway I don't know why people were complaining about the salt. I actually don't use salt while cooking and when I visit people, I always feel like the food is too salty since I hardly eat salt and I also think a lot of people out here eat way too much salt.
I used to be slightly salt heavy until I decided to switch it up & under salt my food. I feel like post cooking the meal it allows one to add salt to their liking.
and if you don't know...Mandi's fav spice is garlic powder....just like me

Hey mandi. Since you love cooking and spices, have you tried Ethiopian berbere or paprika? It has so many amazing spices in it and i tell you it's the holy grail of spices really. You can get it from eastleigh 10 street or any Ethiopian shops. It's the main ingredient in injera stew

Great teachable moment. When you’re regulating your heat, you can put it at several levels. From high, to medium high, medium low, low. The different temperature levels aids in cooking the food in order to not over cook etc.
