Car dealers don’t make much money selling cars. Their real margins come from servicing them. Service is a big money spinner for car dealerships, and also the place where a lot of scams happen. The most common scam is overcharging or inflated service bills.
It’s not uncommon to find spark plugs replaced in a diesel car (which doesn’t use spark plugs in the first place). Get the drift? So, every time your car gets serviced, go through the bill with a fine toothed comb. You’ll be surprised by how often you get inflated bills.
Ford always discusses the problem with the customer, and sends an estimate first, then after confirmation from customer they start the service.

Hyundai did opened the spare and quoted 23k I said I can't afford it now pls give back the car with service charges.. the service charge itself to check that issue itself was 4k.. i told it was checked without informing that it will cost 4k argued with them and finlly quoted for 600rs..

Oil change ka 4k nahi lgta, get the exact engine oil for around 1800 and give 500 to local mechanic. Even u’ll be saving some of the engine oil :)

इसी तरह से मेरी कार गैरेज वाले ने रख ली है। और अब कार लेने जाओ तो 300/- रुपए प्रति दिन के हिसाब से पार्किंग चार्ज अलग से मांग रहा है। 17 महीने हो गए हैं इस बात को।😢😢😢

On contrary Hyundai wale to 1 1 kharcha puch puch ke karte hain, pura detailed parts aur service ke charge pehle hi batata hai, agar aap ok karenge to hi karte hain, ye mera experience hai, shayad kisi aur ka alag experience hua hoga
