Reminds me of the good old times when I visited my great grandmother every year (she passed away very recently and I havenât been there ever since) She lived in a small village a bit further from Aâpura town and we used to look forward to bathing in rivers, taking walks around the village paddyâs fields and worshipping Sri Maha Bodhiya with her! Thank you Shenelle & Shehan for taking me back theređ
Really canât choose between the sunset kayak ride and the little journey to the Ritigala monastery (also the little picnic there!) but I am really excited to try all of it with the +1 at Ulagalla!

I would love to do all of these! So far my favorite is to try the horseback riding, kayaking and to have a walk around the ruins of ancient city! Horseback riding reminds me about our rich history & culture what we learned as kids back in school, love everything about this city.

Wow a lovely destination... it would be an amazing holiday for us.. haven't been out for more than an year... due to the pandemic plus work and also because of my new born... this will be a great opportunity to visit the ancient city of Anuradhapura plus to stay over at the lovely Uga Ulagalla and experience the traditional elegance and aristocracy of this hotel. Would love to experience jungle kayaking, nature walking and village bicycle excursion.
