Hello there.. So, just to correct some facts, walking one round around Ruwanwali Maha Saya won't help you remove negative karma, but it will help you add positive karma. This is because your vibes and thoughts while walking around the stupa must have been good and peaceful, thereby adding positivity to your karma server. Whatever you have already accumulated in your karmic "server" (good or bad) will remain there until it is manifested as either good or bad karma in your life. You reap what you sow. By performing good deeds and cultivating positive thoughts, you add more goodness to your "server," making it difficult for negative things to affect you. I hope this make sense.

If you had posted a video before you both came, I would have been able to show you our village, but at the same time, I would have gone to bathe in the lake, cook Sri Lankan village food and show you more beautiful places to eat with you.

Many tourists think Lord Buddha is a god but he's not. He was a human with qualities which cannot be explained by words. In order to achieve the Samma Sambuddha state he had to sacrifice his own blood, eyes, organs and even children during the previous lives. Because buddhism is all about letting go of things we (think we) own. Lord buddha is no more. He had already ended rebirth. Even though we worship his remains and statues in order to purify our own mind and it is also believed that when we do good karma and follow the noble path tought by buddha, various gods and deities will help us when we need. But our ultimate goal should always be to end this existence and achieve nirvana 🙏

At 6:12, you have mentioned Buddha meditated under a Bodhi tree for 49 days before the enlightenment. Need to correct some facts. Buddha meditated only one night under the sacred Boddhi tree before the enlightenment, (on the same night, the Buddha attained enlightenment). After attained the Buddhahood, the Lord Buddha spent 49 days under and around the Boddhi Tree (first 7 days under Boddhi Tree, second week, Animisaloochan Puja etc, )

The reason why we worship Lord Buddha is because He is free of all defilements. He shows humanity the nature of life, and directs us to the path that gives freedom from bondage. It’s too vast to discuss here, but suffice to say that the path - the Noble Eightfold path will lead to conquering self - (ego)Nirvana is a state of not being, a state that gives eternal bliss. That’s what teaches you in Theravada Buddhism.

Due to unprecedented weather conditions the pathway are very hot. Perhaps the authorities should allow the people to walk on shoes from about 10 am to about 4 pm.
At the Stupa they had rugs down luckily (for the most part), but the roads/pathway to the stupa didn’t. My feet actually had blisters afterwards they were so torn up lol it burned BAD! I think adding more rugs would help a lot!! I can see why they don’t want shoes out of respect, but definitely adding more rugs down would help so much!!

Please don't add indian music on srilankan videos
As I’ve stated in a few videos, the music subscription that I have sadly does not have Sri Lankan music, and I cannot use Sri Lankan music from known artist or I could get a copyright and can have my channel shut down. So, I have to use non copyright music from the subscription that I own! I wish they had Sri Lankan music! CZcams is very very strict when it comes to the right of music, and I don’t think a lot of people understand what content creators have to do in order to follow the rules so our channel doesn’t get taken down!
