    Thank you for taking the time to explain everything about the paint, how its mixed, how it flows, how to cover your canvas, what to look for as you mix it, how it comes off the stick, what to look for as it goes into the paint in the cup from the stick. For the first time in over 3 years of watching many fluid paint artists, I think I know what consistency I am looking for. People have said melted ice cream, warm honey, maple syrup, but for some reason, today it has clicked and my paint has cells, beautiful blending of the colors, it seems to have the same amount of paint consistently over the canvas. I think it will dry perfectly. And I am truly pleased with my result. Thank you Tammy. 😊 I have watched to since before the whole covid mess, but today it just clicked for me.

    • @TrinaRaysTrekofLife
      @TrinaRaysTrekofLife Před 2 lety

      @Holly, Right?? She explains it so well! I'm so happy the paint mixing consistency clicked for you!! 👏👏 You're right, everyone says something different, I guess everyone has their own techniques. But I really like how she explains it!
      I JUST did my first "pour paint" "attempt" yesterday, 6/7/22, and I had only watched like 2 videos, so it definitely hadn't clicked yet, plus it wasn't a video on "how to mix", so I just used paint! Lol No Floetrol, no water, nothing... But hey, I can say that I jumped in and at least got started! 😅🙃🙂🤪
      I posted a video on my Channel of my first attempt, and I'm looking forward to my Amazon delivery of Floetrol and looking forward to painting more and more.
      Happy Painting!!

    Hi Tammy! Can I ask....if I were to laminate the consistency chart, would the paint show the same results as on regular printer paper or do you think I would be misled? Maybe the answer is obvious but I wanted to see if you had an opinion/experience with this before I take it to staples to have them make me a laminated chart. Love the new novacolors. They also show the opacity of each when you click on a color on their website. I'm wondering if you may try their mediums as well. Curious about that varnish. How it might compare to JoSonja! Thanks...great video 🙂

    I wish that you would do a class on CZcams. I can’t afford to go to Texas. And I’m a beginner and just got my first commission and I so want it to turn out perfect. I’m scared to death help!!!! And she wants a Dutch pour. I’ve practiced and practiced and some of them she has liked. She is a longtime friend that has become a doctor and could be a source of possibly more commissions. I guess all I can say is just pray it turns out.

    Tammy I would love to come to your class, but I would be coming from Maryland. I know you had said that you were going to be doing other classes, I was wondering, are you going to be doing any closer to this area? As much as I would love to do both your, and Erica’s class, the combined cost of airfare, hotel, and I don’t even know how much Erica’s class cost is yet, is out of my comfort range. Also, My mom has Alzheimer’s and she and my dad live with us currently. I’m just curious. Thank you so much.
