Goal 90's Top 10 Football Predictions for 2024
Ligue 1 is the easy one. PSG will win that as they almost always do. Halfway through the season, they’re 5 points off Nice, and with the quality they have, we expect them to see it through.
In Italy, we predict that Inter Milan will win the Scudetto. They’re 4 points ahead of Juventus in second halfway through the season, and we expect them to see it through. Juventus could make it difficult for them, but Inter have the quality to win the league for the first time since 2021.
In Spain, we’re sensing a fairytale story just like Leicester City had in 2016. So yeah, our bold prediction here is that Girona will win La Liga.
But we’re not sensing the same fairytale in the Bundesliga and that’s because no matter what happens, Bayern always seems to end up with the title. Leverkusen have been great so far, no doubt, but we predict a Bayern Munich victory.
And finally, for the Premier League, we predict Manchester City will win a record 4th consecutive title. Big shoutout to Liverpool, Arsenal, and even Aston Villa, but we’ve seen this script one too many times.

I can’t see France reaching another final tbh, they have been great but with England and Portugal becoming so good in the last few years, I truly believe that one of them will win. 1.Premier League: Manchester City or Liverpool (depending on the impact of the former with the big return of KDB and Haaland duos).
2.La Liga: Real Madrid (if Girona slipped up).
3.Bundesliga: Bayern Munich (only if they beat Bayer Leverkusen).
4.Serie A: Inter Milan.
5.Ligue 1: Paris Saint Germain.
6.Saudi Pro League: Al Nassr (the first league triumph for CR7).
European Football Predictions:
1.Champions League Final: Between Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, or Manchester City, but I prefer Manchester City vs Bayern Munich at Wembley, as it's a big battle between 2 strikers (Haaland vs Kane).
2.Europa League Final: Liverpool vs Bayer Leverkusen at Dublin (and Liverpool will win it).
3.Conference League Final: Aston Villa vs Eintracht Frankfurt at Athens' OPAP Arena (and Aston Villa will win it).
International Tournaments:
1.Euro 2024: England or France. The semifinal between those teams will determine who will prevail at the end, assuming they topped their groups; if the either side finished 2nd, they will met at Berlin on July 14 instead.
2.Copa America 2024: Argentina will, of course, win it for a record 16th title. The other side in the Final should be Uruguay. I don't think Brazil will get better results, as they're in a big crisis after the World Cup. If this happened, they will match Spain's 2008-2012 golden era for the national team, when they won back-to-back Euros, with the World Cup between them.
3.AFCON 2023: I'm very excited to see Morocco as a favourites due to the recent World Cup run, but Egypt should not be removed as a big candidates. Mo Salah is on fire with Liverpool this season, even scoring 2 goals recently against Newcastle United. I think it will be a battle between Salah and Hakimi for the POTY.
4.Asian Cup 2023: South Korea might be a favourites, but you can't ever underestimate the power of Japan. Last year's performance after the World Cup was insane, even beating Germany 4-1 in one of the friendlies. Also, they can met in the Final at Lusail (of course, if South Korea and Japan topped their groups).
5.OFC Nations Cup: Fairly underrated tournament. New Zealand will definitely win it at all.
6.Olympics: France or Spain. France only if they allowed Kylian Mbappe to participate as one of 3 senior players in the U-23 squad.
Individual Awards:
1.European Golden Shoe: Harry Kane.
2.Ballon d'Or: Jude Bellingham or Kylian Mbappe.
That's my early predictions. It's still early, as anything is possible. But I'm rooting for these (I'm an English fans):
1.Manchester City to win the Treble for the second time in a row.
2.England to win the Euro 2024.
3.Premier League clubs to sweep all 3 European competitions (the first being Serie A back in 1989/90).
4.Jude Bellingham to win the Ballon d'Or (for winning La Liga with Real Madrid and Euro with England).

Remember that 2024 is 20 years exactly after we witnessed notable surprise winners in the football, just as how South American teams had to wait for 20 years to win the World Cup (Brazil in 2002 and Argentina in 2022). Also, there were numerous football tournaments in this year (Euro, Copa America, AFCON, Asian Cup).
I will list several teams that's considered as underdogs:
Leagues:
Premier League: Aston Villa.
La Liga: Girona & Athletic Bilbao (Athletic Bilbao beats Barcelona for Champions League qualification).
Bundesliga: Bayer Leverkusen & VfB Stuttgart.
Serie A: Bologna (Europa League qualification).
Ligue 1: OGC Nice.
European Football:
Champions League: Copenhagen & PSV Eindhoven.
Europa League: Atalanta, Slavia Prague, West Ham United, Brighton & Hove Albion.
Conference League: Viktoria Plzen (They won 6 out of 6 group stage matches).
International Tournaments:
Euro 2024: Albania, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Scotland (They didn't win at all, but at least made a better finishes).
Copa America: United States of America.
I didn't mention AFCON and Asian Cup, as they have too many underrated national teams that can potentially upset everyone.

Not only that, but there were some surprise winners aside from Greece in Euro 2004. Porto won the Champions League, Valencia and Bremen impressed a lot by winning the Double, Arsenal went Invincibles in Premier League, and Once Caldas' Libertadores shock run.
although i agree with most of them but i do not agree with the euros one, i don't see france winning another tournament, but I do see either portugal or england winning it, especially portugal considering ronaldo's dominancy last season, and how portugal players are literally booming, however england is also strong considering harry kane and bellingham's condition, also the ballon d'or one is also a bit conflicted, if portugal wins the euros and ronaldo beats up saudi league and afc, i do see ronaldo winning it anyway, but if mbappe wins the euros(very unlikely) and joins real madrid i do believe he will win the 2025 ballon d'or and boom up the champions league, jude bellingham and ronaldo however are much stronger right now, considering france's condition. I think even if Barcelona wants to sack they shouldn't do it until 2025. Say what you say but xavi deserve credit for rebuilding the squad and spirit in team that was absent prior to his appointment and i think even if this year team doesn't achieve something Barcelona would be a more stable and better team that could attract far better coaches for the project.

Really liked your predictions, but I doubt for Euros, AFCON, and UCL predictions:
1.Inter Milan will very likely prioritize Serie A. In the Champions League R16, they will face Atletico Madrid, which is pretty strong right now, especially with Grizi-Morata duos. Also, I highly doubt Manchester City will win it due to the same reason, as Premier League's title race is quite tough, with 3 teams still in contention (Liverpool, Arsenal, Villa).
2.Spain will fall short to France in the Final.
3.Nigeria's World Cup qualifiers is poor, didn't even beat Lesotho and Zimbabwe. I predict them to go out in the quarterfinal.

First, it's the first video of the year, c'mon let's show appreciation for Goal90.
As for the predictions,i agree with most of them,I think Haaland will win the European Golden boot and Ballon D'or, there's no telling the damage he will do when he's back and I think City will win the champions League,they just have a more complete squad than an injury stricken Real Madrid. Plus, I'm guessing the Coach predictions were the easiest 😂😂😂😂
Haaland won't win the Ballon D'or. Man City will get a points reduction this season for FFP and I see them in for a slip or two more. Also I think they will lose to Bayern, Inter or Madrid in the Champions League. Also I think France or England will win the Euros which would put Mbappe, Kane or Bellingham in the podium. I think Haaland will be outside of the top 5 in 2024.
The country's performance is also a major factor for Ballon d'Or, which Haaland didn't have, as Norway missed out in Euro 2024. This contributed to the goal drought for him with Manchester City, at which, you definitely doubt this club will win any major silverware this season.
