32 teams pulled from all the european leagues in the game. For the top leagues itll be one team from each league, so just the 20th placed team in england, 20th in spain etc. The less powerful leagues will have multiple leagues competing from the bottom of the league, for example 18th, 17th and 16th from turkish super league

@@TsarbucksFC well 36/2 is 18 so what if you split the 36 teams into a round robin format and the top 8 of each round robin qualify for the bracket and then go from there
@@TsarbucksFC but isn’t the champions league 32 clubs? Round of 32, then round of 16, and so on. And for round of 32 it’s going to be played by the club coefficients so for example, the club with the highest placed coeffiecent would play the team with the lowest coefficient so it would be like this: 1st v 32nd, 2nd v 31st, 3rd v 30th and so on.
