ANTIGRAVITY BATTERY 9 MONTH REVIEW (PART THREE)

  • This is part three of my four-part review of the Antigravity lithium-ion battery that I have installed to my Yamaha Tenere 700.
After my initial video at the beginning of 2022 explaining the features and benefits of the product, I followed up with part two, in which I was able to show how the #restart feature activated after a parasitic drain lowered the voltage of the battery. Part two was in fact viewed by the team at Antigravity in the USA and I was contacted by Scott Shafer who is the owner and president of the company. He offered some great input and information that any person who uses their batteries will find not only useful but critically important to get the most out of these unique batteries. This information adds to the importance of considering getting one of these if you head into remote areas with your motorcycle or recreational vehicle.

@@TheRiderGuider This battery is junk. Bought two of them, one died for no reason and Reset button didn't work. Another works so far but it's only two months old and I don't trust it.

@@dr.jillalicecooper2587 just watched your video, that's definitely not a battery problem, your battery is turning over the engine as it should. I'm unsure as to why you pressed the restart button when it hadn't gone to 'sleep'? Appears your bike has another issue? Hope you sort it out.

@@TheRiderGuider I will make a follow up video when I get new battery. Bike is in absolutely perfect working condition and doesn't have accessories or parasitic drain. Every battery that I had in this bike worked very well for around 5 years.

Well let me know when you get 9+ years out of it because that is how long my seasonal batteries last. That is what I get out of my factory powersports batteries and I never use a maintainer during the riding season.

I think most people are purchasing it because the anti-gravity battery weighs 1 lb instead of 6+ lb.

@@JamesPiccone You lost me. Who doesn't own a motorcycle? But getting back to any Li-Ion battery, they are at least two times the cost on a powersports vehicle and at least 4 to 5 times as much on my cars. I lucked into a YUASA YTZ 14S for US$92 that was on sale. And I'll get another 7+ years out of the new YUASA. Try getting a name brand and equivalent sized (I am not using foam pad to take up the slack) Li-Ion of US$92.

@@a.c.e.7568 My stock battery was a 6 lb YTZ8V 120cc for $130.00 , replaced with 1 lb ANTIGRAVITY ATZ- 150cc battery for $80 on Amazon. My bike weighs 300 lb and yes 5 lb difference you can feel. I can feel a huge difference just with a half a tank of gas instead of full. So for my instance I got a lighter, stronger and less expensive battery.
