Was suprised there was no review on the hi-hat, was it relatively responsive? Especially when doing something like 16th notes?
Stock sounds on that module are 10 x better than the Nitro kits - like chalk and cheese.
Demo quality exceptionalâŠseems like Slate samples necessary. Compelling pricepoint for those who may want to venture into an e-kit for home studio use.
Just bought for $500 on Walmart website. $300 off! Was gonna get the nitro max but....

really cool video, playing, and informative.. the only thing that makes me cringe are all the little cutaways. maybe like half of those or less would be sufficient. the core content of the vids are entertaining enough!

Stay away from this drum kit. I bought these new before Covid hit and then a puppy came our way and I didnât play it for a year. When I did the snare started cutting out. Turns out thereâs a lot of problems with the wiring in it. (CZcams for the fix) It is the absolute thinnest wire required and the way it was cut caused it to actually rip. I soldered what I could and got a few more sessions out of it. Warranty was expired and they were happy to send me a new one for $129 plus shipping. Decline! So now I use one of the 8â tomâs as a snare. đ Now the bass drum mesh has worn a hole, no problem just loosen up the lugs and rotate the head? Nope. It does not move! Also, the sound started dropping out of this pad. Turns out the 1/4â jack wire is bad, thatâs ok I now use the wire from the 8â tom 1 send. The 1/4â jack connections into the cymbals and toms constantly come disengaged while playing so itâs fun to push them back in while youâre playing. This kit is nothing but a money pit out the window.
