Bobby Orr was the best player to ever lace on a pair of skates to this day period end of story...though I was never a Boston fan there was no denying this guy was something special...Serge Savard said it best..."there are stars...Super stars... then there's Bobby Orr"
Cale Makar prolly will be the closest thing we get to orr and prolly aint even half was drafted in 2017 same year as Milt's death sadly didnt get to see him play.
Saw a headline that asked, "Is Cale Maker better than Bobby Orr right now?" I laughed and thought how could any writer put something like that on paper? Maker is great. I'm from Boston and loved Maker at UMASS. Still, he's not even close to Orr. It's not fair to Cale to ask that question.
Orr. You simply had to be there. No words can explain his dominance.

What a self-deprecating, nice guy! Holy smokes, such a nice guy. The best player in the world, and he's just humble. That's the way it used to be.
Watched him play many times at the old garden,Pure magic!!!
Alan Eagleson should have been in goal with no pads and a puck shot at him for every $1 he pilfered from those players he pilfered.
So true Dennis. I agree.
I really hope eagleson . Is rotting In he'll.
Sadly, he's still alive, 90 years old.
What a scammer. Eagle son. . .
