    My dudes…thank you for this. I always get nervous working with stuff like this. But I think I can do it, now having seen it done.

    When you sand and paint the Harsin grips, they look pretty fantastic.

    Your “How to” mod vids are great. Clear, concise, with great editing. I hope you continue to make them.
    …Do you take requests?!

      We can try. We're starting small and working our way up. We have the next three or four videos already planned. What was it you wanted help with?

      @@Gregors85 i totally understand we that.
      Off the top of my head, replacing and/changing the expanding clear barrel of the wands. (I belive redman has a kit for that)
      Reworking the wiring for lights, sound, on both pack and wands.
      the connector hose upgrades from the pack to the wand.
      Painting/recoloring of both pack and wands.
      Mods that need sodering.
      Dremeling the vents in wand.

    • @Gregors85
      @Gregors85  Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@TheRenaissanceMan3 yeah the wand in particular is very difficult to mod cuz there's no room and almost everything has to be removed in some capacity and then resoldered back in. We do plan on adding a speaker to the hazlab that will be our first soldering how to video.
      As far as painting the pack, we'll get back to you. I have to see if I need to sand the whole thing down before I can just spray it or if I can just remove parts and then spray it as is.

    I've seen videos where the heat sink has enough slack to pull the entire thing out with a fair bit of slack, as opposed to how tight yours seemed to be...

    • @Gregors85
      @Gregors85  Před 4 měsíci

      Sorry I'm having a hard time understanding your question. Are you talking about the length of wire to remove the speaker from the heat sink?

    • @Caldoric
      @Caldoric Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@Gregors85 wasn't a question, but yeah. Other folks' wands seemingly had longer wires (or the speaker wires were less tangled with everything else) than the wand used here.

      @PaladinChristof Před 4 měsíci

      @@CaldoricThere is definitely a TON of variation to the assembly on these. I've been noticing all kinds of minor differences between mine and Greg's HasLab packs and wands, especially with the lengths of wiring and amounts/placement of glue.

    I have ordered the grips. I am new to the hobby and want to start modding the easy stuff first. Not sure if the will look good as is or if i need to sand, prime, paint and seal.
    What did you do in the end?

    • @Gregors85
      @Gregors85  Před 3 měsíci

      I did not sand or prime them. I just covered them with hockey tape on my wand. Easy peasy

    How did you replace the ugly orange tip on the wand? Your video starts out showing the orange tip on the wand then the next scene its silver and no longer orange. You never explained that at all. Thanks!

    • @Gregors85
      @Gregors85  Před 5 měsíci

      We used Chris's wand in the opening. It was a later released wave and they added the orange tip. The first wave originally had a silver tip. The tip can easily be painted over by taping off the barrel and priming the orange tip and then painting it silver.

    • @PaladinChristof
      @PaladinChristof Před 5 měsíci

      Kind of like Greg said, that was one of my spare wands we used for the shot, and you happened to spot the little inconsistency I threw in there. That was actually a Gen 1 wand with the little removable orange tip that was included with my HaLab pack on. Greg's Wand, which is what was shown in most of the video doesn't have one on, so it appears as though I've magically swapped barrel tips when in fact, I've swapped the whole wand.
