According to Paul Pierce on All The Smoke, Jason Kidd and Kevin Garnett almost came to blows in the locker room when Kidd was coaching the Nets in 2013/2014

The Rodman one gets me everytime, I’ve heard the story so many times and it really hits close to me. In a way I didn’t go through the same things as him but I felt like it.
Like him I was at my breaking point in life and thought ‘what’s the point’ and for me I kept on because of basketball and the same mentality Rodman did. When I heard the story it became a true inspiration to me, and he became one of my favorite players. Giving it his all in everything he does. Loving and compassion to everyone he can, just trying to make others smile and laugh. That is how I’ve felt too for the longest time.

And to think, they were fans of Mookie Blaylock.
I do believe he'd listened to one of PJs single, Alive from their album Ten and he'd decided not to kill himself because of the message of that song. Imagine if Pearl Jam didn't exist and the entire NBA would shock on the suicidal death of Dennis Rodman.

They definitely needed KD. Cleveland had GS number and dray knew that. KD is what truly made them a superteam. Without him, they would've lost to the rockets
