First Spring Hike 2024

In a bit of an oddity, my birthday fell on the first day of spring this year so I headed out to Prompton State Park for a nice 8.3 mile hike.

PA spring is doing what it usually does, drawing us in with some sunshine in its ever lulling dance and warming embrace, only to leave us damp and cold at a whim.

I've known too many who haven't made it this far, I do count myself fortunate. It still doesn't feel like I'm as old as I am though. I think PA weather is intelligent, and twisted lol It heard everyone begging for spring to arrive and it was like... I've got your spring right here 😂

Enjoyed seeing this state park through your video. This is one I haven't been to yet. Happy Birthday. I really enjoyed the section with the rocks, all the moss and the creek.

Thank you! I really enjoy this park, it's one of the less "developed" but it's great for just getting away for a bit without going too far to do it.
