Let’s compare the pros and cons of adjustable beds to see if you should spend your money or put it under your pillow.
    Benefits of Adjustable Beds:
Relief from pain - according to many user reports, the number one pro on everyone’s list is pain relief. A lot of people with issues like cramps, frozen shoulders, arthritis, spinal stenosis etc have given great feedback saying they can finally sleep well.
A two in one bed - the beds are split which means that you can now stop bothering your partner. You can lower your side while your partner raises his, and you can both sleep better. Also, with your split adjustable bed, one of you can sleep comfortably while the other can raise his half and work or watch TV.
Lounge, work and sleep - adjustable beds double as lounging areas or working spaces. Because they can recline or rise with just the push of a button, they allow you to sit up comfortably in bed and get as creative and productive as you want. You can also watch TV without risking back and neck pains.
Built-in amenities: these awesome beds also come with all sorts of built-in amenities like USB ports, massagers, drawers, and silencers so that they won’t make any noise when you change positions.
Amazing design - if you’re afraid that adjustable bed may not look good in your carefully designed bedroom then you can stop worrying. These beds come in sleek and elegant designs and will complement any bedroom.
Extended warranty system - adjustable beds have a way longer warranty than regular beds. Traditional bed only comes with an approximate five years warranty while an adjustable one has about 25-year limited warranty.
Healthier than traditional beds - adjustable beds help recover faster after an injury. That's because the elevation reduces swelling. The same goes for people recovering after surgeries. Plus, adjustable beds also improve blood circulation.
    The cons of adjustable beds:
Higher price - the first thing on our list of disadvantages is the cost. Adjustable beds have an actual electronic mechanical device inside them, so it’s only natural for them to be more expensive than the regular, frame, and mattress beds.
Special mattress may be required - if you decide to get an adjustable bed, find out which kind of mattress it needs, because some may require their own special type.
Consider mechanical failures - we are living in a modern world and the adjustable bed is just another electronic device in your house much like your fridge or microwave. If not treated correctly, it could break down.
The setup might be a problem - adjustable beds are quite heavy and bulky. You’ll have to hire a team to move it into your bedroom, especially if there are stairs involved.
It takes time to adjust to It. Pun intended! It can take a while to find your perfect sleeping positions. It will take you a few days to figure out all of them - what’s your lounging, napping, watching TV, etc number.
If you don’t have a ‘memory setting’ on your bed, meaning your bed does not have the smart function of memorizing all these positions for you, simply write them down and put them in your nightstand.
Do not leave children unsupervised with it because it could pose threats to their safety.
Pros vs cons of adjustable beds - so, are they worth it or not?
When it comes to the benefits and disadvantages of adjustable beds, it’s true that there are a few that might make the scales tip one way or the other. But when the bed comes with a massager, lumbar support, USB ports, and different sleeping and relaxing positions that allow you to rest better and recover after an injury, it's quite obvious we all want one.

Hello I’m having a problem with my new adjustable base bed. I feel every single movement my spouse makes. Even a smallish slightly movement. I feel small jerks/ waves? I called the seller and he has never heard of this problem. Think the mattress has to be broken in. And will send someone next week What do you think? I will appreciate your reply Thanks

I once got a call from a friend who said they needed my help to undo some bolts to shift some furniture, I said I will be there in morning. This friend unpatiently went to a tool shop and was talked into buying $3500 a specialists tool set on wheels that mechanics and technicians use and will be paying it off for ever. The best part was when I arrived in morning to check said furniture bolts, they were held in by wing nuts... only required to unbolt with fingers x 4. 😳🤡

I've been trying these out too and actually it's been inducing back pain Sometimes I throw my lower back out and I find that the most comfortable thing for me to do is walk not sit or lie down in a "lazy boy" chair. It would be interesting to see if any doctors would write a prescription to get a adjustment good day adjustable bed for lower back pain.

    • @yogabrent2138

Unfortunately I've never seen any well controlled studies demonstrating demonstrating that these beds will reduce back pain I would be very weary purchasing one of of these and taking a very careful look at the return policy.. They utilize these types of beds in hospitals but I don't think it's because of back pain I think it's because the people are so weak it's hard for them to sit up and feed themselves.
