My bed buying tips:
1) Measure the room your bed is going into. Height, width, length.
2) Decide which size of bed is right for you, the bigger the better.
3) Choose what type of bed: Storage, Divan, or Bedstead.
4) Think about your storage needs & what you'll be storing in it.
5) Shop around online first.
6) Try the bed in store if you can.
7) Check delivery and in what state it will arrive (built / flatpack)
8) Check for discounts and sales before buying.
9) Plan ahead the removal of your existing bed.

I'm 31 and have only ever had a single bed (I still have the wooden bed frame from when I got my first bed at 3 years old). Thinking of getting a small double or a double bed sometime.
