When it comes to Tempurpedic you want to get the firmest one possible. Yeah it’s not gonna be as comfortable as the soft, but your spine and lower back will thank you later.

I have the Luxe Breeze and am a combo “side sleeper-back sleeper” with a firm mattress. I found that if you raise the head portion of the mattress 10% with your remote, the “Firm” mattress works very well!

The average person may consider a $7000 mattress expensive...I bought a $2500 Tempurpedic and in less than a week I increased my spleeping time by at least 3 hours per night. Actually I think is helping me breath better. My advise to people...you spend 1/3 of your life in bed...To the extend possible purchase a tempurpedic...it's the only mattress approved by the association of chiropractics. They're expensive...but they are worth it. Rooms-to-go have financing up to 60 months without interest.

You should be happy with the soft version. Regardless of what firmness you get with these beds, they still sleep more firm than other mattresses on the market. I hope the split works out for you. I wanted to try split but could not justify the additional 3k

thank you for the corner snap idea. It's been driving me crazy having my corner of the bed pop off when tilting the bed up. I didn’t get the fancy lux breeze; I figure price to performance I wouldn’t notice much of a difference since I crank the AC at night. Maybe next time I’m in the market for a mattress I’ll go for a higher-end model.

I remember having a firm mattress where it basically felt like a brick and no matter what position I slept in it hurt like crazy and I had to return it. I do like soft mattresses or somewhere in the middle but it seems like when I get mattresses that are way too soft they lose their support and then it hurts your back. I could probably go for something like this in a medium firm but then again I don't want a memory foam bed that is firm either. I bought a pillow top mattress that basically lost its support but it was so comfortable when I first got it. Now I got to go on a search for a new mattress. It really sucks that less than 2 years I'm on another search for a mattress.

Stay away from Tempurpedics, all Tempurpedic beds are bad!
-They leave an indentation within one year.
-They don't honor their warranty, they ask you to send pictures ising a coin and they will still deny it. Even if they send someone to measure it for you with a string, they won't help.
-They will hurt your back, your hips, and arms
-Despite their cooling technology, the bed makes you feel uncomfortably hot.
      -The bed sags
-They have a horrible strong smell and mold growing within
Ways people describe this indentation are:
"Feels like you're in a canoe and you have to climb out"
"Feels like you're stuck in mud"
"Feels like you're sleeping in a bean bag"
Please, for your sake, never buy a Tempurpedic mattress of any kind. They invest a lot of money in advertising to sell Tempurpedics, because it's a scam. How do I know? I bought the "Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Medium". I woke up with back aches, I tossed and turned overnight, and it truly felt like I was stuck in a mold. I hate this bed so much.
I took it back to Mattress Firm and they tried to tell me that I needed to give it time to soften, that I should walk on it to break up the fibers. They said only 1% of people return a Tempurpedic. They said I shouldn't go softer because it will give me back aches. They said the medium is like "Goldilocks" from the three bears, it's in between firm and too soft. They say whatever they need to sell it.
So I decided ok, I'll give it time and try walking on it. I go home and walk over it, I put weight on it for several days.
Then I lay in my kid's bed, I fall asleep instantly! I did not toss and turn at all, and I can sleep on my back and on my side, either way it was comfortable. That's when I decided to go back to the store and demand they take the Tempurpedic back. There was no more room in my mind for persuasion to get me to stay with that expensive piece of so called NASA technology JUNK. So I chose another mattress that was not a Tempurpedic. No one should have to go through days, weeks, and months of body aches hoping for a bed to "break in". Unfortunately people find out too late that their back aches are coming from their expensive Tempurpedic mattress, too late to return, too late to get their money back.
Here are honest consumer reviews about Tempurpedic beds, some have photos of the mold, indentation, and sagging:

A good salesperson will always ask you to try it the way YOU sleep whether it be stomach back or side. They will also spent time asking both parties EVERYTHING that has to do with sleep from sleep temperature, pillow size material, age of current mattress, style of mattress, style of sleeping, health issues that could be alleviated by the mattress or base combo. Then teaching you the benefits of the positions you sleep in with the mattress you plan on buying then explaining the break in process so that your fully aware. Also if you buy new and are not happy with price or feel, a trick could be to do an exchange for an OUTLET or used mattress which will allow you to get a different mattress and save a a few thousand dollars in the process. You'll be receiving a mattress that fell in the same situation as the creator of the video. Lightly used sanitized and the same thing. Think about hotels. We pay 450 a night at a Hilton or four seasons for a "cleaner" bed but I don't know of a single hotel where couple after couple aren't having they're fun night after night, so a used mattress that had one owner isn't all that bad when you think about it.

Good but just a little too firm. Amazing bed though. And now I have a base model nectar from Menards and honestly it’s the most comfortable of the 3. The foam and contour might not be quite what the tempur is but the softness is just right and it’s no hotter sleeping than the tempur was. . It say it’s most equivalent to the adapt medium for sure. I’ve had just as many issues with expensive beds as cheap beds. Honestly I’m done with expensive mattresses when I can just go to Menards and get a nectar for $700 every couple years lol. Oh and if you want to be a con artist apparently Menards let’s you keep the mattress if you return it so technically you could get one free lol.
