Kieron really opened up, what a lovely guy, I’m so sorry he suffered at the hands of a monster and still became one of the best players of his generation. I really hope he gets his transplant and can continue enjoying his life.

I really enjoyed the honesty, the candour, the authenticity. I knew a little of him as a player, but this interview allowed us to appreciate him as a person. He's a role model of bravery in life.

I'm only half way through listening to this, what an interview so far! I love how Cullan just lets his guests speak and have there time, it's such a game changer for me. I've noticed in many other podcasts that the host just butt's in and it makes a massive difference to how it flows. Broke my heart meeting Dyer as a kid. Everyone had Shearer on the back of their shirts, I wanted Dyer. Met him and he treated me like I was something he’d stood in. I just stuck with Shearer and Speedo on the shirts after that.

"The Police really wanted me to press charges agaist Lee Bpwyer, they really wanted him" So that accusation is not racism but when a black player is accused of something it is racism?? Good to see Kieron looking so well and hope his transplant is soon and he recovers. I remember the night he was on Sky and said to my Mrs that he doesn't look well.

Toon fan here i personally loved dyer tottaly agree with him if he had mindset he has now back then he would have had 70 caps for england. Most importantly great to see him been able to speak about the dark times he had and how it shaped him in early years its clear coming out about it has changed his life and ultimately if just 1 person hears the effect it had on him they might tell someone before it does the same to them.

I don't like football even tho my grandfather played for Cardiff City just after WW2 but I did enjoy this interview. Very interesting, really professional, felt like I was watching a BBC or ITV program. 👍😁

Keiron was an idol of mine growing up. One hell of a footballer and I'm a guy from Welshpool who's a Newcastle fan, however was Keiron like so many others infected by the Newcastle curse?

So glad eventually you let it out. Brave man, some people never manage to. Outrageous how bad the press used to be, they are still scum but at least the institutional racism isn’t so bad. I would have liked to have had a few West Ham stories! I have read medication is doing well for ya, but still surely operation is better sooner rather than later. Respect and love big man. It's harder for mixed race people to get transplants. I think they have either a higher rejection rate or less suitable transplant organs for them.

Ex footballers aren’t just ex footballers they are humans with a story to tell which people are interested in.
Drugs addicts and ex drug addicts are people with stories to tell which may help people in similar situations.
If it wasn’t for an ex drug addict we wouldn’t have such a brilliant podcast with amazing content to watch on a weekly basis.
