Goodberrys is a nice spell to have because you don't have to carry much food with you which allows you to allocate carried weight toward other items.
Yup it's a real comfort to have it.
Year late, but this is a great video. Solasta is probably the best representation of a TTRPG ever brought to a video game.

This game is fantastic. In some ways it delivers an experience that is better than Wrath of the Righteous. The roleplaying opportunities are incredible (as you pointed out in other videos). It almost feels like the game narrative morphs around your characters that you made. I haven't done a second playthrough yet, so I cannot confirm it, but it certainly feels that way. I don't see that happening as well in other CRPGs.
Yeah I had a great time with it. I think character creation is a lot more clear in this game than in Wrath. It's very easy to figure out what you want to do and how it will work.

Hiya SS! I'm a little late to Solasta, I just bought it only a few days ago and currently making my escape from Caer Lem. Thank you for the video and the log was something I really didn't think much on focusing on and it's the most valuable tip I took away from your list. My characters are all only level 2 at the moment but I'm having fun! I'm hoping my characters make it to level 12, but I'm sure the game is going to get a lot harder and a TPK is just waiting right around the corner lol. Something I'm considering doing when the new campaign DLC is released is to make an all cleric party. Mischief to cover typical rogue needs, Battle for the front line fighter, Insight domain for knowledge checks, and then an elemental/sun/oblivion domain for a ranged spell caster. Figure since they'd all be clerics there'd be no reason to specialize into Life. My only hesitation is if there would be quests/content I'd miss being all the same class. But maybe it's fine if they are all different backgrounds.
Oooooooo that's an interesting thought. There were no class specific quests in the original campaign so it will be interesting to see if that changes with the DLC. Let me know how the party works out!
crafting poison arrows/bolts is quick and effective, most monsters can be poisoned

Can you tell me what to do with letters that aren't magical and don't have value? I just want to confirm that I can trash them. Also, should I sell the precious stones like amethyst?
You can sell/trash the letters. For precious stones check the tooltip to ensure they aren't an ingredient. If it's just a regular stone then sell it.
Longswords do slashing not piercing.
Hmmmm this video was from quite a while ago so not sure what you are referencing.
For food :The druid also have good berry at lvl 1..
If you have time go take a look at good mod..
There is one that permit you multi classing and it is very fun.
Done a rogue-sorceror (dragon) and it is amazing.
For new adventure go get Silverquick module.
They are as good as the official quest itself.
Interesting. Could you please be more specific about the rouge/soc build like level in both classes and rouge archtype if you take more than 3 level in rogue ?

@@lenam317 It is not really a build but I can tell you my experience.
The Dragon sorc gives you a +3 ac at the start. It is very valuable to the point you will not need to wear any more armor as a rogue. I've put my first level rogue at lvl 4 (after lvl 2 spell) and my second at lvl 7.
I will probably stop at 3 lvl in rogue.
If you can put your hand on an Empress robe or something like. This will give you 22 ac (with a good Dex).
The plan is sold at the 'new shop' at the crown-library map.
Nice thing : use 2 casting meta to be able to cast 2 hast spell at the time.

@@ngamashaka4894 thank you. Your game plan sounds interesting. The 2 meta is sweet though intially I just think of using bonus action hide and snipe foe by spells like scorching ray.
@@lenam317 yes scorch ray when you are hiding is good, at least better.
I forgot, you also get teleportation at level 2.

First point - in your last video that I know of, you mentioned that you could get to a point where you had the option of creating another full party if you like. Kinda defeats the purpose of being certain of what you want "all the way through" ; ) - this is mostly a joke, and I can only make it because I saw that video.
Second point - it stands more to reason that anyone who wanted to take a skill they'd assume should be useful for later content; without knowing what that new content will be... should probably just wait for the game to be fully complete. With nothing more to come out, at all, before they start creating a character. No?
Third point: Log -
X character Misses.

X character is dead. Reroll, and repeat. Until you rank up in Berserker in Rl.
(This is still a joke, but not that far off. A log's not always that useful : ) )
Fourth point - Balanced sure, but can they spin a plate on a stick that happens to be on MC's nose? o. O
Fifth point - So... Mine Crafting? (It was too easy, had to go there, and yes I feel ashamed)
Sixth point - Faction planet, be the heroes; gonna take pollution down to Zero. If "pollution" counts as a black dragon's breath weapon, anyway... oh well.
All jokes aside - which is sometimes hard for me, I admit - Good points all. I've been less certain of this game myself, and there's the point I play on Xbox One only. So I'd have to wait for a console release regardless. Like with WoTR. Hopefully you get a laugh out of at least one of these. Call it fair trade for quality content.

I had to re-roll my last character because the tower of Durlag. Nope!
I bought it right after it released and fond it so-so. The story wasn't very interesting.
I agree the story wasn't compelling but I loved the character creation and combat.
@@SlanderedGaming Getting your characters up to scratch and winning the tough battles was what made it for me. The end of the story was obviously rushed and I wish they'd fix it all but it won't happen.
