  • Amanda had her 1st Bigfoot sighting in 2005, at her parent's property, in North Central Alabama. Before her parents bought the property, it had been sitting vacant for years. The realtor warned her parents that no one had been interested in buying it because there was something strange going on there. It wasn't long before Amanda and her parents found out what the problem was with the property. It was a big and hairy one.
    If you’ve had a Bigfoot sighting and would like to be a guest, on the show, please go to MyBigfootSighting.com and let us know! We’d love to hear from you.

    I live in Alabama and would love to come visit you. I have always loved the woods... grew up playing in them. I’m part Choctaw and Cherokee. Great grandfather was a Choctaw chief. It’s in the blood... the love of Nature comes naturally. My grandmother could heal whatever ailed you with herbs from the woods. Such wisdom!!! She didn’t like doctors and such.

      The Choctaw were the original "Wind Talkers" during WW1 before the Navaho Wind Talkers of WW2. Most people are unaware of this fact. Why the change to Navaho? My guess is that the Germans probably broke the Choctaw code by sending spies after they lost the war.

    I’ve never had a sighting. But I live 10 minutes from downtown Birmingham near the Pratt area. I heard strange noises last September. Whatever this creature was sounded like it was trying to mimic a dog, then an owl. Then it started making monkey sounds. Like it was trying to mimic these animals, but it couldn’t help making these chirping-like monkey noises at the end of it’s vocalizations. It all happened between 1 and 3 AM. It was about 50 yards away from my window. It sounded like it was in the middle of the street in a densely populated neighborhood. I live across the street from a neighborhood park that’s up against some woods.

    If it's Cherokee territory in North Central Alabama, it's probably Marshall county. Might stretch into Morgan, Cullman, or Blount county, but I'd imagine Bigfoot don't care about county lines. LOL

    We live in north central Alabama. Our property borders bank head national forest. We've never seen anything with our eyes but, we've heard things. My husband has been so close to something he swears made every hair on the back of his neck stand up. He said the smell was gross, like wet dog. My experience, I've heard things. Well, we have. The husband and I were sitting on our porch at night. Heard what i said sounded like teenagers playing in the woods. A bunch of whops and weird sounds that made me want to run into the house. My husband, being a man, wanted to whop back. When he did, it responded. They kept that going until it stopped. Another time, i was pregnant and very far along. I just got done cooking Tday dinner, and my feet were swollen. I went to lay down and take a load off. Our windows were open, and as i laid there, i heard the loudest roar. Like a Trex. At that time i was still on the fence of whether this thing was real or not. My husband was in another part of the house, come running in and asked me if i heard that. I guess he judged by the look on my face, but he knew i heard it. Another time we were on our porch, our son who was about 2 years of age at the time, come to sit out on the swing with us. The things were doing the whopping sounds, from various parts of our woods. My son, who wasn't old enough to distinguish danger, got right up, and ran back into our home, for safety...
    We've heard things, my husband has smelled it he claims 3 times in his whole life. But we have not seen with our own two eyes these things.

    I'm in North central Alabama as well. Many times I have been hiking around this area of the state and the woods go silent. I've never seen anything, but I do get that feeling of being watched.

    • @iambowhunter2
      @iambowhunter2 Před 3 lety +6

      Most likely they were. Be on point of any smells you get as there were several I wrote off for years in correlation to woods being spooky quiet. The smells in combination with the dead quiet is my confirmation they are close...not to mention the tracks and structures.

    • @dr.robertsmith1971
      @dr.robertsmith1971 Před 2 lety +3

      Your feeling was most likely real, my older bro. took part in a research team who were studying if someone being watch can actually tell it or is it just a wild guess. After a year of various test they found that certain people can tell if they are being watch 100%of the time, they even gave it a name it's called EYE PRESSURE, And they created a device to measure the amount of eye pressure being applied to the one being watched, that was about all he could tell me because the military like always stepped in to extract all papers and computers used in this study, and made it classified, and this was a major university Harvard. I Guess it could prove useful in military applications, and i can certainly see why the government doesn't want us to know the secrets to knowing when we are being watched. But anyway i know that feeling you think you are alone but you get this feeling you are not. from now on i am going with it.

    COVER your trail cameras with stainless steel mesh from an old french fry basket it blocks the signals coming off device, everything but the lens, better yet insert camera in a stainless steel box, we have the result of that they are so good we do not show anyone but close friends , we could not figure out why someone else had not thought of it it is a no brainer as long as you understand what signal is coming off device and what blocks that signal, also place camera up super high in tree pointing down you will need a tree climber professional climber, no face photos but plenty of bodies they never look up ever , sasquatch thinks cameras take part of their soul , but i have heard other stories too

    These things are All Colors. Black, Reddish Brown, Brown, Orange, White and Gray. Several White ones have been seen in Missouri. I have seen a toddler size, when I was about 12 yrs. old. It used to throw gravel at our house. I have Also heard a Big one Howl. It was So Loud, that Everything goes Dead Silent, crickets, frogs, etc. There are other family members who have had encounters. Women's and Children should be Especially careful. I hate to say this, but I have heard that when a Woman is having her cycle, they should be Extremely Careful. When I was young, and they use to throw Rocks at the house, it was Always when my Dad was Gone to the River, to run his Trotlines. My Mother threw open the door, with a gun ( not advised ) and yelled at them. I think the activity slowed down. They KNOW What Guns are, but it is NOT a good idea to point one at them, unless Absolutely Necessary, and I agree, I believe they live in Clans. I live in Northeast Arkansas, and they are Definitely here. Good Story. Take Care and Be Safe.

    I found it a bit upsetting when the lady and her family go out at night, curious to find a sasquatch. But then when activity begins, she tells her husband to load the gun. Understandable, but what did she expect? Then she explains she doesnt want to hurt it, but she will protect her family. But she is the one that put them in danger to begin with. Then she says they heard a growl. Yes, that's what sasquatch do when someone is loading a gun. They are supposedly very intelligent. It's just a shame that everyone concerned was in danger because of people's curiosity.

      we were in no danger and we heard a noise i told him to get the shot gun ready in case he needed it even tho i have been out enough i knew we wouldn’t when it growled obviously i am gonna say load it which what i meaning is make sure it’s chambered because the growl was our warning that this sasquatch was giving us to tell us to go and we respected it and left and we’re flanked out as for my family they are all grown adults and yes curious to see more if there weren’t people like us trying to see more than we will never know abt the species but the sasquatch growled before he/she ever saw the gun being loaded and when we go out to learn more about this fascinating creature we expect a lot things behaviors are different in them as they are in humans

      Sandra lots of people live in remote areas in North Alabama and all over tennessee along al/tn and along the nc/tn state line over towards Chattanooga. You better some good shotgun,high caliber hunting rifles and hand guns just incase you need to protect your families while going out into very rural areas. Not everyone lives in urban settings with street lights
      I grew up in far northeast Tennessee by the tru cities. Both of my parents are from the Jonesboro/Johnson city areas where the cherokee national forest starts. Lots of huge black bears live in them ridgelines in carter,unicoi,washington and greene counties. Where those counties are located along they parallel the nc/tn border. Those cherokee national forest hills have plenty of predators like wild hogs,big cats and bears that you could run upon while out hiking or riding atv's in them hillsides.

    Why would you want to mess with a 6-15 ft tall unknown human like creature ? If it wants to be friends, I'm sure it will let you know. This isn't a commercial. I'm curious also but from what I gather. It's best to keep the heck away. Because, short of a flame thrower, what would stop these creatures? I have had weird things happen. But I'm not going to go looking for these things.

    This is very interesting and I get you girl! They live here at my place and woods next to me. You are very correct in all you've told. I was on abnormal investigations with Mike Stephen. I did a podcast awhile back. I was asked to be on killing bigfoot and I agreed but destination America wouldn't pay the producer the money the show hit high on the ratings. Now it's bigfoot is real. They. Never wanted the title killing bigfoot. Ok .I know some of these guys. Last encounter I had a juvenile jumped from my oak tree in front of my house. When he hit the ground he shoved my car on back passenger side. He was about 5 ft tall had hair nasty looking with kinda rolled and twisted,sort of matted. Ok. Better hush . Did Ashley mcphaul come out? He's an investigator with gcbfro. He did a meeting few years ago. In evergreen Alabama
