  • Jeff went on a camping trip, with his family, in 1971, when he was a kid. He and his family had gone to a place in the Smokey Mountains, called Cades Cove. They had never gone camping there before. Not long after arriving, Jeff started passing a football around, with other kids he met there. They had been throwing the football around for about 15 to 20 minutes. A pass, intended for him, sailed over his head and went into the timber. When Jeff went to retrieve the ball, he found out, the hard way, that he and his new friends weren't alone.

    I live about 45 minutes from the location of this man's encounter. It's one of many reported Bigfoot sightings in and around this location in East Tennessee.
    In the beginning of this story, I too was reminded of the Dennis Martin case .
    He could have been a very lucky boy at the time. These creatures are unpredictable and one never knows what perhaps could occur. In 1978 I myself came face to face with one of these creatures. (Bigfoot) .
    I was 9 . This will be with me forever. My encounter took place in Hamblen County in East Tennessee.
    I really enjoyed this man's story . So happy he decided to share this ! Cause it's not easy. Not one bit . Thanks for posting this!

    I know I’m a little late to the party, I’ve only recently found the channel. Thanks for sharing, Jeff. I’m sorry that you lost your father so young. I’m glad that he took your encounter seriously and didn’t shrug it off as a kid’s imagination; it’s good that you had that support system, even talking about it later so that you at least had someone to talk to instead of dealing with it on your own, especially at 8 yrs. old. Love from Michigan 💕

    Thank you for sharing your account!! It is a shame that the general populous is not informed about Sasquatch being in the American wilderness. I live in Maryville Tennessee. I can assure you that Sasquatch is here in the smoky mountains.

    I clicked on this so fast. We used to have our family reunions in the mountains every year and always visited Cade's Cove. I actually have a memory from when I was probably 8 we were on a nature trail and I left the trail to pee but I ran pretty far down a animal trail and I looked up and what I saw stopped me dead in my tracks. I saw what I thought to be a family of bears lounging in a nice shady area so I turned around and quickly walked back to the main trail.. Thinking back now over 30 years later I sometimes wonder if it was bears or something else.

      @RuinedTemple Před 2 lety +1

      Oof that sounds super sketch, even if it was bears!
      But just the fact that there’s an inkling of questioning in your mind makes it considerably more spooky lol

    I was just thru cades cove last sat .. there were alot of storm damage trees down everywhere ...amongst a stand of trees for several miles I saw 1 tree broke over ..it was about 12-15 inches around .. it was broke about 6 ft off the ground ..I never did stop to get out n look at it . I also seen a x made out of some broken trees ..it was on the loop just before I got to a cabin or church just off the road on the right .. can't remember the name of the cabin or Church tho .. it definately did not fall down like that all on its own but there is a chance that somebody who is a Bigfoot enthusiast could have made the x .. the wood was not to big for a good size teenager to move .. but ya just never really know !!!

    He should get ahold of David Paulides. He has spoken to Dennis Martin's father. Also, some people looking to see bears seen something running uphill with something red on it's shoulder. Dennis happened to have a red jacket on the day he disappeared!!! He should get ahold of Dave and tell him what he seen around the same area Dennis disappeared and compare notes!!! Bless you and yours!!! 🙏💖🇺🇸😊

    Thank you so much for sharing your experience, as frightening as it was. It’s a cautionary, yet respectful tale that we DID very much appreciate! The way I love animals, I would love to observe them (safely), especially in family groups. But, alas, it is not yet the time for that. Meanwhile both your respectful caution and curiosity are understandable. There also appear to be added factors in some sightings that would make them extremely dangerous. Since man has mismanaged this earth and its inhabitants, it’s best to be very cautious when in the wild (anywhere) at this time. I’m so glad that you escaped unharmed- and he clearly was also wary, but not aggressively motivated.

      Is it true that most of the locals in that area also believe little Dennis was snatched by a Squatch?
      Is the belief or knowledge of Sasquatch fairly prevalent in the rural wooded areas there (sorry, I’m not familiar with the specific terrain)?

    I would imagine it would effect you on all levels for the rest of your life …. I have never had a encounter but as a child I remember something going crazy in our pond behind our house I was at the window and one of my older brothers about 15 or more years older was leaning over me hands next to mine on sill and head above mine listening was pitch black down there and I remember us all guessing what it might be … was it injured… etc never did find anything out and I’m sure something “ normal “ passing through making a heck of a racket my thought was always something very injured but I was very young … anyway just that has stuck with me all these years and I never even saw anything!!!

    I'm sorry you had any association with Steve. You could do so much much better than that loser. Steve is nothing but a 'storyteller'. Has no knowledge to pass on of any sort, even being a hunter. With the knowledge I've acquired, there is nothing but closed doors with Steve. If it worked out for you with him then I'm happy for you. This is why David Paulitis wants nothing more to do with him anymore. Makes me angry that he fooled me into disclosure nonsense and that he's a Canadian like myself. He's is just out there to get the subs for his channel. Nothing more. That's my impression of him I'm just giving you a heads up simple as that
