So excited to dive into chapter two of Micah today! I've been loving reading the less talked about books of the Bible and realizing how many treasures they hold!

Hey Kendra, wonderful Bible study. I was reminded of Ahab and Jezebel when they plotted to take land that did not belong to them and Ahab was another character who wanted the false prophets. I'm also encouraged by the reminder that God said He would bring His people back to their land, what great faithfulness and love that still blows my mind today. In the movie "Amazing Grace" one of the characters said this line that has always stuck with me, "I am reminded that I am a great sinner but that God is an even greater Saviour." Thank you for this video :)

Lots of people today want to hear " feel good" prophesy , even if it's a lie ! I find it very unnerving that people are obsessed to know what the future holds for them, instead of trusting in God's will.
Ain’t that the truth!! When I was reading that I was instantly reminded of how people today are the SAME WAY! There’s nothing new under the sun!
The self-help / trust your heart / self-help/ it’s all about energy and the universe culture is toxic. Jesus is the only way ❤️

Wow, you picked up things I missed. It was sort of sad, though, when you were talking about the false prophets, because the names of current false prophets started coming to my mind. That just shows us how relevant this book is for us even now. God bless you once again. I truly loved this.

loved your explanation and rendering of the Book of Micah ... you mentioned that Micah was a minor prophet and thus had to explain the justification of using the term 'minor' ... it seems that nowhere in scripture that this term 'minor' is supported (wonder why man has to always add his 2-cents) ... just wondering, thanks, awesome study.
