- I’ve had a few issues with my levo recently so thought I’d do a rough and ready video of the repair!
Please note ... this is certainly not a guide!
This is also useful for maintenance and cleaning

Excellent video. Thank you so much. My 2020 Levo HT is malfunctioning. This will be the second new cable in 3 years. Seems to be a common problem. I’ll be sure to add tape to the wire loom as you did. Cheers!

Thanks for posting this! My 2020 comp does the same thing. Now I need to find a shop or online retailer to get the part from here in the States...

Just 2 months my 2021 Turbo Levo and I need a new rear derailleur .The gears started grinding when I was shifting .Stopped to check it and one of the arms that support the jockey wheel was broken. Guy at the shop said the arm was worn like a rock had been logged in it. So no warranty.
Fortunately they have the part and I should have it back tomorrow

My 2017 is doing the same but can only seem to find gen2 cords online.

I have metered the cable out on mine and found there is no continuity between pins at either end for the small brown data cable(ground) it seems as though the cable has detached from the small brass pin inside the connector that plugs into the motor, the power light comes on but the motor will not engage when pedalling.

Nice video thanks. I got my 2019 Levo in November but it has the three bolt cover not the four bolt like yours. Did yours come with the three bolt originally ?
No it’s always had that cover, you sure it’s not a 2018 model? or maybe there was a early model revision?
@@ElectricCrotchRocket thanks for the reply. Its definitely a 2019 carbon comp. The early 2019 models did have a three bolt cover as far as I know which was upgraded to a four bolt cover along with the improvements to seal the back of the cover with the foam insert etc. Maybe mine was in stock from an earlier run. It does have the foam insert but not four bolt cover.

@@ElectricCrotchRocket when it comes time to change the lead im sure it will. My first motor became incredibly loud at 800 Kms and was replaced under warranty at 1100kms but the lead still looks like the original one to me. Cheers.
Hi Mate...just dropped on your video regarding this cable...just wondered since you have replaced it with the upgraded version have you suffered anymore issues since?? as my bike which is the same model as yours suffers with no power every time I ride in wet conditions??
No mate it’s fine. It will be your cable, they break internally and damp gets inside it
@@ElectricCrotchRocket Cheers....Absolutely love the bike but was getting worried about some of the Brose motor issues in wet conditions....was out up wharncliffe the other day very wet, pulled up to stop for 5 mins, went to turn the TCU back on and nothing!!! Very tiring ride back home with no assistance!!!! - motor itself when working is still quiet though, have you had to change your motor at all since you've owned it?? Thanks.
Yeah sounds like a cable issue, pop the cover off and have a look inside. Not yet no but the bearings are getting slightly noisy now so suspect it won’t be long ... 1300 miles with mostly Peak District miles so pretty good

None I'm aware of. Specialized have a lifetime warranty on frames.

Yes I agree, I believe this is V3 of the cable design and touch wood has been fine since 👍
