I agree with this so much!! I focused so much in upping my cp aimlessly, then when I fought in lava valley and duel yards, there were those that had lower CP than me, but they dealt a hell of a lot more dmg than I did omg. Humbling

The main quest part about cp not defining if you can do it is very true. I can progress through the main quest with 70k cp less than the recommended.
Unfortunately in lava valley if your opponent has double your CP your gonna die no matter what. XD

Correct. You need to pick and choose.
CP doesn't matter if you aren't funneling your stats on where it can actually give you beneficial effects. elemental attack for example provides so much CP but if you aren't using the correct elements then those stats are wasted.

@@yambal8492 it still work in progress but I use bunnybot (who is now max), flutterby (next one the list) and a another attack familiar(to boost bunnybot). Still try to get better evasion/def gear and high attack weapon/jewelery. Still so far from what I want XD

using 3* weapons is good because the awakening effect on them is REALLY REALLY good when we are at end game and can use ideally one 3* one 4* and one shiny, for the stacking passives on awakening effects
I do think it is situationally dependant. But yes I agree.
my mono fire weapon grid does way much more damage against earth enemies than my 3 element weapon grid. both abusing elemental weakness. kinda makes me curious how element attack affects the damage.
Heim I actually wanted to test this because alot of people say go all 4* weapons. HOWEVER I am curious on the additional stats that are added by equipping another fire weapon. Yes its less ATK, but it is MORE "Fire ATK" so I am curious if it can surpass 4* weapons.
@@DoctorDiggs I partially built a 3 star earth weapon before getting a 4 star one. Using both at the same time is a noticeable boost VS water enemies as opposed to my 4 star dark weapon (which has more raw power).
Not only do you get Earth attack, but the passive is earth % dmg increase
Aye. I believe that @guardiankaiser. I won't be satisfied though until I sit down and look at all of the equipment and gauge the differences. I'm also curious if basic attacks are considered the element of their weapon- so for example if Fire Damage+10% is the SAME as All damage+10% basically. Lots of things I want to test and look at.
This video just made me to remember last time when i went to the duel yard and fought a player whose 5k lower than me in CP it was a 'witch' and mine is 'swordsman' but when we're both in a low health i just can't believe he took me down in a crucial part, This video just helps a lot. Thx

💯% agree CP isn't a true measure of power (this ain't DBZ). That said, I also feel like I have few options considering I have, what feels like, limited everything right now even at Lv53 and as a low spender, other than utilize 3 star familiars better.
Don't worry. As a spender and at level 60- I have limited everything as well. LOL

thanks its so true, yesterday we got challenge by another kingdom and we pk (kingdom war) them at chaos field, most of them at level 50's are 300k cp and my and my mates are not even 300k cp yet but they got owned hard

I've got most of the elemental skills and using 2 decks with each element consisting of support and damage skills. For the first deck, put damage skills with the main element and other damage skill. For the 2nd deck, put all support skill including skill buffs. So whenever I'm fighting bosses, I always use 2 decks both for support and damage. Same with PVP, easily kill players using different elemental skills and buffs.
I kinda have this issue right. I come from Seven Deadly Sins Grand Cross, where Combat Class is VERY important and VERY infulential to how the battle will unfold. Im not sure excactly how Im supposed to level my character in Ni No Kuni and im confused what things im supposed to level first.

No. However weekly reset is sunday so if you leave/rejoin now you may be able to skirt the weekly penalty?
Might be a dumb question, but how do you target what stats you want to up? Just look through codex and go for those that bump it?

Yup. Or for example in awakening my familiars I prioritize attack ones. Since codex generally gives atk for them.

Just had 2,4m witch in my team in lava valley. I took my deck with Showtime so i can buff him and make him carry but couldn't believe my eyes when my Showtime went to me. I have 500k less (1,9m) cp than that guy but more attack. Some people focus on some really weird shit like HP only...
I'm probably very similar to that witch. ENtirely based on bad cursing luck. So it might NOT be a choice lol.

Yeah it's not true I'm lvl 60 and my main quest requires 600+k cp but I only got 450k cp I still can finish the quest. F2p player here
when upgrading weapon to 11+ it says 20% the weapon can be damaged.. does that mean that the weapon will disappear or it can be repaired? I'm still thinking whether to upgrade my weapons higher than level 11.. hmm any advice please
It can be repaired. You need smithing hammers to do that.
My CP is 349k but I can do the main story that is 547k only because I have a good comp that helps me defeat them. Your CP does not reflect how powerful you are.

I would go defense, but I am not a swordsman expert.
In different resourses same stats can give different CP, like when you get 450 hp it is only 300CP for some reason, or 10 evasion is both 30 and 35 CP

Hello! i've been telling whales this for days, they have 500k cp and im at 400k f2p but i still get top 3 during FB bc my passives like attack aura and blazing heart are at lvl 8 and my showtime is at 3. so whenever i pop my ults and passive i can out damage even a few of the smaller whales!!!! also im stuck at level 60 trying to fight the light boss. maybe a guide on how to beat these guys? the story gets very hard
Yes the story does get very hard. I've just been taking breaks when I am hitting walls in the story, and focusing on doing things like unlocking Lv.1 of all of my skills to kill things in PvE faster. etc... etc...

Water bomb is single target right? so isnt frozen storm better pve even if it is a meelee skill?
Pretty sure Water bomb is AoE. Has an AoE marker. Could be wrong tho.
also base on my research the leaf dance is single dmg too, i cannot test it tho because i dont have water bomb and leaf dance

What bothers me is my rank in Lava Lake is only Bronze 1.. I saw many instances where I am carrying weak people with far higher rank than me but their CP is like half of me or even 100k lower..
I skipped Lava Lake duel early game and only started it when my CP is already 320k.. *BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!*
Yeah I suck and my build sucks but I got to silver 4 in a few matches because I’m still at 260k CP along with most of the other F2P players so most matches are just a coinflip who gets a whale on their team
