An A for effort.......acting was pretty good.....script was good but they tried too hard..... too much going on it got a little confusing....the suspense was good its just not easy trying to thread all that together and make sense out of it was impossible.....i really dont know who the villain was because they all was at one point.....lol.....it was like two movies in one...lol

This one hit a lot of points...especially the micro-aggressions in the office.
For all its faults, this movie shows how fu**ed up our society is in terms of Black/White race. The one exceptional person in the movie was "Candy", the pregnant woman. When she said to the couple leaving for the hospital at the end, "I have a sense about things. He's not going to take the money," she was basically saying, "You have to kill him." Bad as that is, it's a lot less messed up than the attitudes of the other characters, and it shows that even this gentle person had to act within the weight of our society as it is. I give this movie 5 Stars for addressing this vitally important topic (as did "Them"). One really goofy thing I didn't get (but understood after I found out that one of the writers was White) was the use of the "horrible" line that occurred twice, "You're one of the good ones." A White Liberal would think that comment was horrible because it acknowledges that the speaker sees most Black people as not good. Horror of horrors, daring to say out loud what 95% of White people think. I have personally experienced racism (of the reverse sort), and if anyone in the group of people who looked down their noses at me said, "You're one of the good ones," I would have taken it as the compliment that it was intended to be, and I cannot imagine most Black people not having the same reaction. To close, the reason this movie is so scattered and disjointed is because one writer was Black and the other writer was White. This is a "White" movie about racism.
There is no such thing as reverse racism, that's a myth. Black people not liking you doesn't effect your livelihood in any way shape of form. Believe me you've never experienced Racism-Racism is when and entire system is structured against you, so stop it!
No one speaks that way. 😂 That's why it's ridiculous, because it didn't resonate with real people.

Good pitch, and amazing actors but wasted potential due to the script and development of the story. The movie started off on a good note but never got around to completing the plotline that was introduced in the beginning. Lastly, the movie's ending made 0 sense.

If it was about making white people look bad then the movie wouldn’t be about two black people trying to get “Justice” by kidnapping him at gunpoint. It’s very clearly at least supposed to ask the question of what teeters the line beyond morality. What does Justice mean when doing something bad to get it? I think to sum it up as “white man bad, black man good.” Just means you’re trying to make this into something it isn’t. There are plenty of films where a white man is the villain but just because a black man is in a position that opposes the white man (not even necessarily portrayed as a hero) now it’s that the movie is pushing an agenda. People like you will somehow see right through the point and end up further away from it… Everyone treats the topic of race like it’s black or white. In reality, the topic of race deserves a lot more than that especially when a movie like this begs the question of how far can you go before you become the bad guy? What is it that specifically makes you the bad guy when you’ve crossed that line? Idk maybe use your critical thinking skills instead of trolling on a CZcams video comment section. You could’ve at least asked a question if anything.
