Unit 265 clearly u have zero taste in movies, her movies are fab like the movie spy, the heat , the boss, Tammy was good but at the ends kinda soppy , bridesmaids ,oh and my favourite identify thief , I mean I personally don’t find her movies funny like laugh out loud funny but they’re amazing and entertaining to watch , but then again I don’t even find any comedy movies funny apart from the movie were the millers
I feel like the role that could completely change Melissa's career would be her playing Annie Wilkes on a Misery remake, a more violent, R rated more in par with the book adaptation, she'd kill it, pun intended.

There doesn't need to be a Misery remake. The original is perfect.
The original really is, it's one of my fav movies, but it's almost 20 years old, I think that just like It, it would benefit from a remake, a very graphic one, cause the book was way more intense than the film.

I see comments about her "finally" being in a serious movie but you have to realize that she would have not been here and this popular if it wasn't for her comedy movies. there's other actors that may be great in serious movies but can they master comedy? no one like Melissa! her comedy movies kill me with laughter. she's a natural. now we see her in a serious movie and I can only feel excited for her!
Jennifer Ravelo most actors openly admit that being truly funny in a comedy is much harder than playing a dramatic role. Melissa is awesome. She hasn't even begun to tap into her full range yet.

Honestly at first for the first few seconds, I thought this was going to be a comedy.
Spy made me laugh out loud when I was by myself. I don’t do that. Usually, at best, just a smile will form on my stony face if something is funny. She’s a very talented lady.

I think this film will really change the way Melissa McCarthy is perceived. Yes, she is already a fantastically entertaining actor, with her satirical skills being a prominent feature of her ability. But this really takes it to a whole other level. Very excited to watch this.

So much love and excitement for Melissa about to earn an Oscar for this movie. Sorry, but she has a long way to go to prove her acting is worthy. Her resume is padded with mostly bad one dimensional comedies. If she continues to take more serious roles and develop dramatically, then anything is possible.
