That's because there are only shitty videos. The guys that actually know how to chain-up properly are not wasting time filming - they chain-up and go! All I've seen are crappy tutorials. Nothing beats experience.
@@haroldbacker5915 so if it's the tires and they get really Loud you can hear them smacking the bottom of the trailer, quarter fenders and mud flaps Or it gets quiet and you don't sound like a tank going down the road off the rack is harder to notice it's a faint jingle that's why I suggest changing on them on your breaks to see if they are dragging
@@CHSP6059do you even know how to drive in icy conditions? If you need to chain two drives the truck tends to go straight when you turn the steering wheel! Short answer: any time you need to chain both drives you should chain a steer, unless there are no curves/corners and you are only driving on a wide road.
Why would anyone put tire chains on dead trailer wheels there is no power to trailer wheels they must be total idiots in states that require trailer wheels and why would anybody wait to there on a snowy road in traffic to try & put chains on

So in WA you install on both outside tire but also on the inner tire, how do you install the inner tire chain?? Or you have dual chains with you??
We use “double rail” chains.

Never.
Actually, oil field rigs have and do chain up one steer in the Bakaan oil fields of the Dakotas
