The cop is a great example of someone who has no business being an officer or dealing w/the public. He is the epitome of a dangerous LEO. Remove him, pronto.

@@anti-ethniccleansing465True. Neither person was the hero in this scenario. However, as a community leader, an officer should understand that treating troubled youth like this has no positive effect. This situation would have ended very differently if the cop took a mentoring approach instead.

My only problem was the officer holding the kids arms out the window while telling him to get out of the car. Otherwise, I don’t have a problem. I am not about these officers babying this younger generation, thinking that they can control a stop. That punk really thought he could just hang out there until mommy showed up to handle everything for him. You seem to want the officer to hang out and have a coffee and chat with the boys hiding marijuana, to wait for mommy to show up as “mentoring?”
“OPEN THE DOOR!” While having control of both of his arms is some real-time gaslighting only cops are capable of doing

Tbh I never have had a bad 1. In fact I ran from the police and got pulled over a long ways from original stop. When I pulled over all you smelled was brakes. Cop admitted he couldn't prove it was me even though he thought it was me. Let me go
if your adult enough to drive your adult enough to deal with a cop with out your mommy...
Unhinged, volatile, bully, egotistical and dangerous are words that come to mind. This LEO shouldn’t be anywhere near the public.
The takeaway for me was the officer didn’t just exaggerate the danger to the pedestrian he actually LIED in order to justify everything that followed . Although there is no proof of the mother’s assertion that this cop had followed her son for extended periods before this incident it certainly raises my suspicion that there was an ulterior motive for this stop . When things like this happen I think an officers previous conduct and history needs to be investigated .
In Europe, if there even was weed. it would and could NOT be used as any kind of evidence since it was obtained in a illegal search.
When the kid called his mom, he told her it was officer Stinson who pulled him over, implying that they both knew this particular officer. I wouldn't be suprised if she was telling the truth.
@@somethingsomething479in a small enough town, there might only be 1-2 officers who work that community full time, with the county sheriffs department providing additional coverage as needed.
I have not yet finished watching to see if this might be the case.
@@tanya5322 And? In a small town the only kids I knew who knew officers by name were ones who were getting bothered/harassed by them regularly. Because of this, even kids like me who were "goody-goodies" knew all the corrupt, shitty cops by name and what to expect if we ran into them. Sexual harassment, blackmail, etc. -- if you were lucky.
I enjoyed this one covering minors and police interactions. This hopefully will provide great value to young adults and their parents. So often young adults/adults are undereducated and get themselves into a mess because of this.
What a psychopath. This poor kid is trying to be reasonable and wants his mom on scene so he does things correct and this pos cop can’t even think past that
A perfect example of we found nothing wrong when we investigated ourselves
Yeah, the incident being investigated for fault by one of the people that was actually involved in the incident reeks of corruption.
no grade to the mother who immediately threw her kid under the bus by agreeing with the cop that her kid is a bad driver? F to mom
oh man lying in an attempt to man handle an underage person says this cop is 100% abusive to his partner/boyfriend.
I always love it when they order the driver to open the door and exit the vehicle... while forcefully grabbing both of his arms so that he can't do either. Then they charge him with resisting because he didn't obey the order.
He was already guilty of resisting anyway... so who cares.
@@LegDayLas its very idiotic to ask for something you know you can't get.
The cop was guilty of felony false imprisonment and treason for even stopping him.....@@LegDayLas
The average citizen is often shocked at how low the threshold is for traffic stops and "contempt of cop."
He came to the vehicle angry. Why are these cops ALWAYS SOOO angry all the time?? It’s like you HAVE to have anger issues to be a cop. Sad
Remember being a cop is one of the most stressful jobs on the world.I am not saying I justify their actions, but it makes sense that sometimes they become hostile and aggressive after a bad Interaction or a bad moment they had.Police officers are not liked nowdays by a lot of people and they end up letting out that anger on random strangers.I do think more training and some more active therapy would not be a bad thing.
So saying "i dont consent to the search of my vehicle" in wyoming is "interferance" in wyoming? Absolutely insane. Anytime an officer whos caught lying about an interaction should have all past arrests and citastions investigated for the same issues.
I've never understood how you can arrest someone for resisting arrest
They do that as like a CYA charge. It’s just a basic charge to justify an arrest, even if it was unlawful. I know, it’s fucked up.
And this is the very reason generations of the public don’t trust or support the police. Abusive bully.
I make a point of teaching the next generation that the cops are absolutely YOUR ENEMY, and nothing else.
Wouldn't have it any other way
It's been more than a generation. People have not trusted the police since their founding, often as slave capturers or night watchers as punishment for some crime. The only prior who every liked police are the people who've used them to infringe on other's rights who they don't like or want to exert power over.
Cop was in right. Little punk needs to man up
@@DR.DisInfect He's 16 MAYBE. Might as well expect a toddler to be able to run a block without busting his face open on the sidewalk.
This Officer needs terminating......he is a classic example of the kind of Cop that should not be on the force. His aggressive behavior was so unwarranted from the word go, desperate to escalate to enforce his authority over a minor. Can you imagine how aggressive he has been on every traffic stop and got away with it, Disgraceful way to behave.
This cop needs to be fired and charged for his actions, for life
How could having an officer that was actually involved in the incident investigate for wrongdoing not be a conflict of interest? Ray Charles can see that's absolutely ridiculous
Stevie Wonder is happy to back that up!
Asking the important questions!!!
Happens all the time
bro, the fact that the dashcam CLEARLY shows the cop lied, and they still claimed the pedestrians story matched what the officer said he witnessed. it's like the dashcam footage doesn't exist to them. absolutely insane corruption.
This kid will never trust cops.
This is ridiculous, they should definitely pursue legal action. Being that this cop has harrassed the kid before, following him around and what not. Not okay
Lying cops really need to be fired immediately.
I hope the lying cops family, friends, collogues and neighbors all watch this video so they can see with their own eyes, the true character of this unprofessional officer. This is exactly why there is so much friction with Policing in our country. Can you imagine being married to, dating or sharing your life with a lunatic like this.
Cops usually marry women who they abuse that’s a fact
You know they’ve done a survey, and I think it was about 40-60% of cops are known to be abusive to their spouses.
@@vincentfrusci7745 grew up with a girl who married one he beat her regularly nobody could convince her to get help so she just cut everyone off and stayed with the criminal cop

I dont know if it’s only me or not but your voice is very soothing… LOL!! Keep up the great work man!
A cop lied? I wish you all could see the surprise on my face!!! LMAO!
The officer was borderline hysterical trying to explain himself to his colleagues. Out of breath and blurting out his side of the story to try and justify what he did.
All I see is a kid violating traffic laws, ignoring police commands, calling out for his mom while refusing to comply with lawful orders, and in possession of drugs in his vehicle trying to hide behind his age.
What traffic laws did he visibly violate? Because if there wasn’t a visible traffic violation then there should have never been a stop regardless of whether or not he has some weed on him.

Well I have a degree in criminal justice had some of my criminal justice professors said that cops and criminals are cut from the same page. And it has been suggested that many become policeman because they fear being arrested by police. We need to do more as a society to send the police to prison.
If you’re old enough to drive without your parents, you’re old enough for a traffic stop without your parents. I think this guy should’ve comply with the orders.

Well yea, but thats not justification for the cops response
It sounds like this officer has been on a targeted harassment campaign against this kid, which explains a lot.
I had a cop like that when I was a kid in the 1990's. He would just follow me for miles and wait until I did something wrong, or that he could perceive as wrong. I nearly lost my license from so many ridiculous tickets from that guy.

Is there any other relationship that shares those dynamics? A leo pulls you over to cite you for a traffic violation that may of may not have happened. As a result, money will be taken from you. During this interaction, the driver must act as if he/she is glad that it's happening or possibly face additional consequences. A bizarre dynamic!
the kid was more scared of his parents than the cops...
Its amazing how a badge will turn a person into a instant A-Hole. As soon as they receive a badge the tyrant comes out and no accountability is delivered.
The fact that the law is generally OK with the way this officer acted is appalling. What happened to de-escalate? He approached that poor kid like he had a personal vendetta against him.
He's a stalker and assaulted a minor. And his punishment was paid vacation.
He did have a personal vendetta, and it's looking more and more like a case of "rejection"
He did indeed have a personal vendetta against him

I helped someone with a similar situation. The pedestrian was still on the sidewalk not within the crosswalk. He got a ticket and I wrote a statement and notarized it.
