I reached out to Peaches for a statement, and the things she told me are so VILE that I couldn’t even include them in the video. I’m posting the screenshots of her messages on my Instagram story (@msblairewhite) AS WELL AS notifying the FBI, even if the case is settled.

Technicality a sexual attraction to minors is a phelia - one of the 4 Greek terms for love. Therefore it sits in the same catagories as Androphilia (basically same sex male attraction but with more of a pan leaning) gynophelia (same but for females) ambiphelia (sexual attraction to both so bi/pan sexuality) and also things like dendrophelia (sexual attraction to plants).
All of these at some point Society frowned upon. But as we moved forward all the ones I listed became either accepted or in the case of plants highly judged but not illegal.
Pedophelia and zoophelia (bestiality) society has not accepted (rightly so) because we drew a moral line that centered around consent - when two men have sex with consent it hurts no one and thus is no ones business. A child or animal is unable to consent because they have no idea of what they are consenting to. And so we drew that line.
So yes pedophelia is a sexuality but it does not follow that it should be accepted on those grounds. We accept the sexualities that do not harm others - we accept those sexualities only when they do involve informed consent. Her argument is flawed therefore regardless of whether you accept it’s a sexuality or not.
(The reason this is important is because there are people out there who are sexually attracted to minors, realize this is a wrong thing, seek the psychological help they require and control themselves. They understand their urges do not and can not excuse behaviour and these people deserve support in their journey to wellness)

She's lived a hard life. She was supposedly sexually abused by her father (who has custody of her child, by the way), which prompted her to run away from home. She's been abused, molested, and raped by grown men in their 50s since she was 11 years old, and who else knows what other traumas she's been through. After having her childhood stripped away from her and being subjected to those awful experiences, it's no wonder she looks like that. Life has not been kind to her.

I'm fairly certain that said scenario would never happen. There are more maladaptive behaviors involved with paraphelias, especially pedophilia, than just being sexually attracted to inappropriate things.
I can't recall the entire list off the top of my head (I took Abnormal Psyc roughly ten years ago now... oof, I feel old...) but is also comes with a lot of distorted thinking patterns such as entitlement, impaired theory of mind (seeing things from the other person's perspective,) and most notably the inability to establish healthy relationships with peers.
But even if it did, it still isn't, by definition, a sexual orientation.

Chesley Sanchez although ure right, i recently looked at a reddit post called “im a pedophile, ask me anything”. i looked into the questions and this person claimed they’ve never and never will touch a child, even though it is painful for them. of course, we can’t believe anything we see on the internet, but they said something about wanting to get help, but being afraid of getting locked up even tho by their words, they don’t act on their desires. i don’t know if that’s true, but i can see a possibility of a pedophile getting locked up after seeking help

@Chesley Sanchez This is something I struggle with... if someone comes forward and admits to having such urges but have never acted on them and they want help, 100% we should give them help. The ones who have committed such acts I'm torn on, they are criminals and therefore should serve their time to society but if they want help should we offer that to them or just let them rot in prison. I haven't been able to fully form my opinion on that just yet.

There are organizations and forums and all sorts of “activists” efforts for these people...luckily they’re still a very small minority (as they should be) but we can all lose enough sleep at night already knowing that they’re speaking for themselves just fine.

Cora isn't a baby anymore. She's about 2 years old now. I spoke to Cora's now guardian. She's safe and they have an order against Brittany. The baby was never in her custody because Brittany ran off right away. I have the messages with the caregivers.
