The Book of Enoch, written during the second century B.C.E., is one of the most important non-canonical apocryphal works, and probably had a huge influence on early Christian, particularly Gnostic, beliefs. Filled with hallucinatory visions of heaven and hell, angels and devils, Enoch introduced concepts such as fallen angels, the appearance of a Messiah, Resurrection, a Final Judgement, and a Heavenly Kingdom on Earth. I love this reading and often fall asleep listening to it at nights, while drifting with visions of my imagination forming from words of this woman's sweet voice, the story of Enoch. So beautifully read, a lovely contribution to the world. Thank you, whomever you are who does narrate this... I’m not kidding, I must have fallen asleep at least 300 times listening to this. That's not true. The apostles absolutely did regard Enoch's words as scripture, and quoted him numerously. Enoch's book is only separated in the West, not the eastern part of the world where it's included.

The first time I read the book of Enoch, it opened my eyes, heart, and mind like no other scripture has done. At first it felt like a baby digesting food for the first time, hard to swallow, but I did not give up and tried again and again until I could fully digest it. And it changed my life for the better. Now I see our future clearly in the direction we are heading. The mystery has been revealed.

Love it with the female voice, listen to it sleeping and have dreams of my mother and wife together, wish you had a psalms, had my mother read psalms to my wife in her last days of cancer and she said she never saw someone ever get so calm and relaxed before! I’ve not heard ANYTHING in it that teaches Man ANYTHING other than to OBEY and WORSHIP... or be DESTROYED.

Man... people really had a thing for a God that clearly has zero chill. In all my strange spiritual experiences I've never once encountered anything but overwhelming love and unity. The only toxic elements come from my humanity not The One which is anything but a restrictive destructive force as is described in many of these texts. If these things have any spiritual validity they seem like human psychological archetypes made manifest so we can process our negative aspects. It does seem parts of this are based off true experiences as the visionary quests are similar to mine (had some intense stuff when my heart stopped and had to be defibrillated, seen other things through introspection/meditation and use of things which alter biochemistry) and many other people too have mostly felt peace love and unity...the overall fearful and angry tone of God in many old texts and old pantheons is something I simply can't see as anything but the human intellect clouding experiences of true divine love and unity. I've had terrifying spiritual experiences but every one of them was so clearly aspects of my psyche working themselves out, not actually the Divine and certainly not anything beyond the Nous nevermind The One to put it in Neoplatonic jargon. The Jesus movement was a step in the right direction from imo away from the more toxic human projection of "God" but the Jesus movement is also full of toxicity which has now likewise become outdated. All the same I enjoy learning from our past and such influential texts such as this one and sift it for the gems and toss away the rest. In general though I'm much more of a Plotinus, Plato, Pythagoras, Meister Eckhart and Spinoza kinda guy (many others inspire me too but to list them all would be a little ridiculous)

I just love the Book of Enoch!!!! Enoch good, Modern day Jasher bad.The modern day Book of Jasher is not genuine. It contradicts the Genesis 6 / Enoch 6 story. It also greatly contradicts the Dead Sea Scrolls. We have the book of Enoch which is genuine praise God! But the modern Jasher is a deliberate hoax using the Midrash.

The Book of Enoch is actually a Jewish book of Fables, meaning what is in the Book of Enoch is not true.
Using the Book of Enoch chapter 7 (sec II) verses 10-14.
10. Then they took wives, each choosing for himself; whom they began to approach, and with whom they cohabited; teaching them sorcery, incantations, and the dividing of roots and trees.
11. And the women conceiving brought forth giants,
12. Whose stature was each three hundred cubits. These devoured all which the labour of men produced; until it became impossible to feed them;
13. When they turned themselves against men, in order to devour them;
14. And began to injure birds, beasts, reptiles, and fishes, to eat their flesh one after another, and to drink their blood.
Verses 10 & 11 in Enoch sounds like Genesis 6:1-4. NOTICE in Book of Enoch 7 verse 12 it is written “Whose stature was each three hundred cubits.”
300 cubits (3,000 ells) when converted into feet is 450 feet. This so called offspring is 450 feet in stature. REALLY?!?!?!
So where did this 300 cubits (450 feet) come from? It just so happens this exact measurement is found in Genesis 6:15.
Genesis 6:15 “ And this is how you shall make it: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.”
Interesting that the LENGTH of Noah’s Ark is 300 cubits or to say 450 feet long.
What the Fable book of Enoch does is take the Length of the Ark and applies it to the stature of this offspring. Offspring that are 450 feet in stature. Why believe such nonsense.
Book of Enoch chapter 2 “Behold, he comes with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon them, and destroy the wicked, and reprove all the carnal for everything which the sinful and ungodly have done, and committed against him. (Quoted by Jude, vss. 14, 15.)
The Jewish Fable book of Enoch even steals from Jude verses 14 & 15 or the author of the book of Enoch is just writing down what Enoch SPOKE. This can lead many astray into believing in the Jewish Fable book of Enoch.
Another fable from the book of Enoch chapter 68 verse 4, “The name of the first is Yekun: he it was who seduced all the sons of the holy angels; and causing them to descend on earth, led astray the offspring of men.”
In this verse it mentions that this angel Yekun (Jeqon) lead the angels in heaven astray and caused them to descend to the earth. That is NOT TRUE. Lucifer who is Satan caused that.
Using the fable book of Enoch this is about a prophecy of Jesus.
Enoch chapter 1 verse 3b and 4The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling,
4 And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, (even) on Mount Sinai,
[And appear from His camp]
And appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.
In Enoch chapter 1 verse 3b and 4 is a prophecy that the great holy one will appear on Mount Siniai. Scripture tells that Jesus will appear on the Mt. of Olives. This is a contradiction.
Jesus ascended to heaven from the Mount of Olives, on the east side of Jerusalem, and Jesus is coming again to the same place and location (Mt. of Olives). [Acts 1:9-12 and Zechariah 14:4-5]

Zechariah is a prophet of the Old Testament. What Zechariah is talking about is the SECOND COMING of Jesus.
Fable book of Enoch says Enoch did know Noah, but Enoch would have been 434 years old to have known Noah, but Enoch only was on the earth for 365 years found in Genesis 5: 23 "So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. 24 And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him."
Simple math from Genesis 5:21-29. Enoch was 65 years old and begot Methuselah (verse 21), Methuselah begot Lamech at 187 years old (verse 25). Lamech begot Noah ate 182 years old (verses 28 and 29). When adding the years take 65+187+182=434. That is the 434 years old for Enoch, but God took Enoch at 365 years old.
Clearly Another contradiction.
Fable book of Enoch is missing texts, Chapters 11 and 36 are not in the book, compared to the Bible all 66 books are complete and are not missing any of the writings.
Another point in the fable book of Enoch compared to the Bible, when Lucifer rebelled his name changed to Satan (devil), which is means the adversary. Why did not all these other angels names change as well?
In the Bible the book of Titus Paul writes: Titus 1:13-15 “This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith, 14 not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn from the truth. 15 To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.”
This is EXACTLY what has happened to so many, because they take the Fable book of Enoch to be true. A lot of peoples minds (conscience) are defiled.

You can't add the 65 years before Enoch had Methuselah.
Also there are many books missing from the Bible. Ex: Epistle to the Laodiceans mentioned by Paul in Colossians 4:16. Also, chapters missing from Psalm were found in Dead Sea Scrolls.
The Great Holy One did appear on Mt Sanai during the time of Moses where the Ten Commandments were given. Enoch wrote the prophecy before this happened. It simply came true already.
