    I will soon have a Fully-Tuned QB-79 Repeater from Mike Mileck of Flying Dragon Air-Rifles! Cannot wait for this awesome Co2 Powered Air-Rifle. The Repeater Action actually snaps onto the breech! Anyway, from the reviews I've been reading, Mike Mileck "milks" every bit of power these Air-Rifles have to offer! Great videos by the way!:) Happy/Safe Shooting!:)

    I got a 100fps increase from drilling out the bolt probe and replacing the transfer port to a crosman 1377 t/f port, took the buffer off the valve stem and I got 600fps out of the box in .22 and now I get 710 fps..14.3 gr. Hollow points. I also have a. 177 and did the same thing and it gets 800 fps. Light 5.4gr. pellets. 750 fps on 7.4 destroyers. Mine are both QB78s' and they were dirt cheap on amazon. I paid $59.00 for the .177 and $69.00 for the .22 but they rival my crosman 2240s in .22 and .177 and the Diana chaser as well. You cant go wrong with a Beeman...good and affordable.

    Except for the stock,these QB's are looking very much like the 160's that they emulate. Very nice state of tune and a group to be proud of ! Peace from New York State,USA

      I would really like to own a crosman 160 but they're unobtainium here in EU.

    All precharged air rifles, CO2 but better high pressure air rifles are very forgiving to shoot and even novices can shoot them well, a spring rifle is a different beast how ever.Thanks for the nice comment, and sorry for the delayed response.

    I have enjoyed your videos very much. Very well done and informative. Have you completed the video on how you did your mod on the QB78? I haven't been able to find it. If you haven't done the video yet, can I get the written steps you did on your mod? I just got the same air rifle a few weeks ago and want to do what you have done to yours. Thanks.

    You can achieve much more than 10.5 ft lbs, i know this one is a .177 so slightly more limited but 10.5 can definitely be beaten, the .22 can go as high as 21ft lbs with the right tuning, my .22's are running at just under 17ft lbs

      I mean this video is also 8yrs old so probably different parts and things available

    • @stevefox3763
      @stevefox3763 Před 2 lety

      @@shaun1040 age is irrelevant, all the mods required to get them to max power can be done for free, even the probe bolt can be made by modifying the standard restrictive bolt, i have two rifles like that, one has a bought probe bolt and the other i modified myself. both have a number of other internal modifications and output vastly more power than the one in this video.
