    Interesting idea!
    I have a qb78 and knew that you needed a special tool for the valve...
    This is a very cheap & simple alternative!

    The valve should be inserted in the other end, where the cartridges go. Why? Because all those slotted holes have sharp edges, and will damage the new O-ring.

      Makes sense... Thanks for the tip! 👍

      It's a good idea to remove all the burrs and rough edges while you have it apart at this stage as well. These don't have the greatest finish to the milled/ processed edges. A little Emery and wet and dry goes a long way to making these little rifles a lot smoother.

    so I use a qb79 and use the 88g bottle and recently its dumping all the co2 straight through the barrel.. would this be down to a seal problem on the valve.. any input would be appreciated 👍

      Good chance it's the seal, but either way once you disassemble the rifle it will will become very obvious. Presuming you've had the rifle for a while probably a good idea to replace all the seals as routine maintenance. Good luck 🤞

    hey, is there some picture or how is the valve attached to the valve tube? i know crosmans 22xx series need 2 pin it if u hpa it but im not sure how these qb:s valve can stay there without doing anything if u hpa it ??

    • @b1cates
      @b1cates  Před 3 lety +2

      When you tighten the valve the o-ring compresses which secures the valve to the tube - which is why you have to loosen it in order to remove. Hope that helps?

      @@b1cates ohh i see, there is no any bolt to attach valve tru tube?

    • @b1cates
      @b1cates  Před 3 lety +1

      @@kawasaki5006 A bolt secures the brass section of the valve to the tube. The o-ring provides an air tight seal.

    Co2 only leaks when my gun is cocked all the way forwards

      That's because the the hammer is pressing against the valve stem. You must have had it apart and has been reassembled incorrectly.
