“A delayed amusement park expansion is eventually good, but a rushed amusement park expansion is forever bad”-Shigeru Miyamoto probably.
Delay it and make sure you have David Wise playing around every corner of that park before opening 🎶
David Wise everywhere system
Maybe some Grant Kirkhope as well
Tbh that's earlier than I thought it was actually coming out. I thought this was coming out next year or two.
Hope that a *new Donkey Kong* is in the works to coincide with the opening of this DK theme park expansion!
They should have the DK Rap as one of the background music.
Can you imagine having a trip planned to go there to be on this ride and it won't be ready by the time you get there? I sure can.
I mean, there was no official confirmation date anyways, so you couldn't even plan one
I am going to Japan in june, I was expecting to visit that section, guess I am not 😂
Yes actually. Im going to Japan in August and was thinking it would be opened by the time I go to Universal Studios Japan hahaha
Im going to japan in november hopefully i can ride it
1:05 we theme park fans can relate to that heavily
everytime I seedonkey kong my left hand is happy
You forgot to add "lonely."
wtf
Take all the time you need, Universal! This is gonna be one awesome land!
Hopefully we will here more about this in a future Direct. Like a big June Direct
Why though? It seemed like it was close to completion, especially since they were testing the ride. I was waiting for this and the Nintendo museum to open first before going to Japan. Now with BOTH of them getting delayed I’m not even sure if I should continue waiting anymore.
I love Dk country so much, but I’m still so confused as to how we can have an entire theme park for it. When an actual new game hasn’t been released since 2014.
Probably because of the Mario movie.
How they gonna say spring, then delay it for a few more months💀
I hope it's the tech and not park budget cuts
😭 well that was part of our trip going to this land now we'll just wait for epic universe instead
Miyamoto's most widely used quote.
''Bad park design, good park design, it's all the same! I hate every single theme park in existence and I wish they never existed.'' ~ Shigeru Miyamoto, circa 2003
All jokes aside, I'm okay with the delay; considering we're already well into Spring (or atleast I am), this announcement doesn't surprise me.
Aw man
I really wanna go
And yes I live close to Japan
I can go later
Well, at least it's only a few months pushed back. On the bright side, we know nothing of what's happening with Nintendo in late 2024 so the DKC park will be something at least to look forward to.
JaidenAnimations and is shaking right now.
ok?
It’s still coming this year tho. So it shouldn’t be that much of a issue
This has something to do with the Switch 2!!!!
I'm going back to Japan in two weeks, and I gotta say..... I'm somewhat relieved it's delayed to the end of the year.
Having heard no news as of late, I was dreading a last minute announcememt for an opening RIGHT AFTER my trip.
Oh well, I'll be going back anyway next year, so...! :)
But yeah, maybe some engineering/security issues have been found out these past few months, so it's better to delay it.
And you're right, it might also line up with a potential new DK game release (who knows?)
On the bright side, at least it's still coming in 2024 but later
why nintendo is making all of this like lego toys movie cameo even a theme park but where is a new donkey kong game?
@@glauciarochelle I think they're actually developing it behind the scenes and while we're waiting for it, they're giving us Donkey Kong media to hint us
Maybe it will be announced when the Kremlings are added into the DK world.
since the world is based off of donkey Kong country returns, no
Oh no, anyway
Was that Miyamoto quote just a parody?
nope, he said that 100%
Yes haha
That explains the lack of advertising and information on the new land from universal Japan I doubt that it’s because they delayed it for a donkey Kong game or something I just want them to take their time and I wish I lived in Florida so I can visit the biggest Super Nintendo world and maybe the one and only biggest ever we’ll see with time which is better and bigger etc. 😢
NOOOOO I’ve been planning a trip to Japan for this summer to see this, but it looks like I’ll miss it😭😭💔💔
SAME 💔💔 but honestly my original plan was to do mario kart and yoshi, so it didn’t really disappoint me much
but otherwise it would’ve been cool
They better have a game ready to go along with it then!
I hope added Kremlings?
lol
The most logical explanation I could give you, clueless Americans, would be this: it was delayed due to the fact Tokyo DisneySEA's mega expansion, Fantasy Springs, is opening up in the same time frame. Although USJ is located in Osaka, the majority of domestic JP tourists would choose Fantasy Springs over DK and flock over to T.D.S. if they were to open in the same time frame
Ok Kazu the Samurai
Dang
Ah that's okay for the delay, I'm not going to Super Nintendo World in the spring season, I'm planning to go in December 2024
Good thing I don't have plans to travel to Japan yet, will hopefully go someone 2025 and beyond.
I wasn’t expected it wouldn’t might open later by 2025
Was that English
Stroke moment
Really.. really? I was getting a dream of it now is Delayed oh nuts.
I thought I was dreaming I was in it.
It got delayed
It got delayed
Looks like they need more time to work on the Donkey Kong Coaster
All i want is diamond city in Super Nintendo World
I really shouldn't worry when attractions get delayed. That way they have time to polish and, most importantly, make absolutely sure it's safe.
That's ok. I hate roller coasters😣
