I didn't know this until recently, but apparently both Merry Mini-Land & Slippery Summit were completely new additions in the remake
(And yes, I know that Mini-Land Mayhem existed, as I have played it before)

I heard an another cutscene comparison video that the Switch version is how Mario remembers the events of this game while the GBA version is an exaggeration on how Donkey Kong remembers it.
