    Thank you Oxana for this tutorial. I'm a quadriplegic but I'm still able to make this piece in the pear shape. Things like this help me to focus on an enjoyable effort. You never know who you are really helping in this world.

    This looks simple and bit more masculine than other wire weaving. It's perfect for a more minimalist look, or for someone wanting a "tougher" look. Super nice tutorial!

    There was kind of a giant step from the beginning of the weave to ... DONE. I wish I had seen how you worked it to taper wider and wider and then thin again. Gorgeous piece. So simple, so elegant. Thanks.

      Thanks! I actually don't have any more resin. I moved overseas, and because it was shipped by boat, I think it went bad, because it all looks yellow now, so I don't think I can use it anymore, and it will probably be too pricey to order more and have it shipped all the way here.

    So glad this channel exists. Ive already fitted two of my precious stones with one of your other tutorials! Im into crystal healing, but im a sucker for wearing my gems (typically on a necklace) I already have so many nice stones that arent drilled, so your tutorials have been a great help! Especially this one for some of my unruly cut gems haha! Keep up the great work hon!

    Love the tutorial and the finished pieces! I have one little suggestion to make when you shoot your next video--can you please pause a few seconds at critical points? I found myself viewing certain sections over and over hoping to find a shot of just the right moment! This was especially true when it came to making the bail, which has always been a weak point for me. About 3 to 5 seconds at the beginning of the bail process and then again when you start to make the loop that fashions the bail itself, as well as the final bail wrap. Otherwise, everything was great!

    Your work is beautiful and your videos are excellent! I wonder if you might consider buying the stones you use in your pieces in bulk (100 or so) and then reselling them to your subscribers? Easy and convenient for us and a small way to monetize your efforts, too. Just a suggestion, I know it might be too much trouble to bother. Maybe ask your followers/subscribers if anyone else might be interested?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Před 6 lety +1

      Sorry, but I do not have a source to get stones in bulk, I just scour the internet and if I come across a stone I like and need I buy it, but just one stone at a time, not in bulk. Plus I am in Australia, so sending them to the US would be very pricey shopping. You'd be better off just searching ebay or etsy, just search for "labradorite cabochon" for example, and you should find the types of stones I use. The only thing is it is pretty time consing, because you will get like thousands of stones that pop up on ebay that way, and you have to spend lots of time looking through them to find one that looks good to you and the seller has good ratings, etc. But that's pretty much what I do.
