It dates back a few thousand years or so, unless it is paleo, then it is 11,000 or older. l have decided to make a pendant for my wife. l will use your "look" of the double crossed wires for it. Dammit! I was hoping the cat would make one more appearance. Oh, yeah, very cool arrowhead. A couple of weeks ago, a guy brought me a sharks tooth to wire wrap; similar technique. Thanks for your kooky videos.

julie Vastano obsidian is glassy and will cut you on the edges where they are shaped. I don’t think plastic will. I get mine from thunderbird jewelry supply. They are online!

If they feel cold to the touch, they're probably some kind of stone or glass.
If they feel warm like room temperature, they're probably plastic.

Did you mention what gauge wire you used?? I tried 22 and it's too flimsy
22 will work but I usually use 20 gauge for arrowheads.
