Same I got sick 2 days ago Monday night and I couldn’t sleep the whole night because I had a sore throat, nose clogged, headaches, constant dehydration, felt cold and hot. Then I went to work at 6am. The whole time I felt dehydrated (had to drink water every 5 min), fatigued, headaches, vertigo etc. 2 hours passed and I couldn’t take it no more I was ready to pass out so I called my parents and they both picked up my car and I, took care of me that whole day (yesterday) and today. I feel alittle better but still have constant headaches, a clogged nose, fatigued but it’s not as bad as it was yesterday. I took the rest of the week off to get better. My boss isn’t lenient with workers but once he saw saw me about to pass out he was like hell nah I can’t afford a lawsuit lol

same here. Xray doesnt show anything wrong, but it gets harder and harder to breathe. I cant do much sports also. Ive got a breathing problem for 3,5 years already. Sometimes I think I'll die. Yesterday I didnt feel my hands, lips, belly. I thought I'm dying. The thing is I got this problem almost all the time now. I got a stuffy nose also all the time. Sometimes I wish I would die. I fight for breath everyday...... Dont know if theres a way out of this mess...
When I was 10, my father got me started on nose drops when I had a bad cold. Well that was over 50 years ago and I am still using them. Only they are the sprays now. Can't get off the damn things. I tried many times but after getting tired of sleeping sitting up (so my sinus would drain) or eating in between breathing! If I plug up completely, then I get a terrible headache that will not go away until I take a hand full of pills! And I have allergies that make it worst. So I know how ya'll feel. It does suck!!!

I had sinus surgery and it DESTROYED my life. I now have atrophic rhinitis (empty nose syndrome) which means I barely feel air when I breathe---I feel like I'm suffocating. It is a Hell that cannot be described. It destroys your sleep. I am so exhausted all the time. I spend every day wishing I could just die. I have no life now, I can't do any of the things I used to enjoy, there are days I can barely stand in the shower. ❤️❤️❤️

King Rajan i found sleeping partially upright in my lazy boy helps sleep better but since i go to bathroom at least 4 or 5 times a night i dont use lazy boy as the bathroom is upstairs ugh! so i get tired climbing steps my sinus has been a lifelong problem

What's pretty bad is when you get so stuffed up that you have to breathe through your mouth. Then you wake up and your mouth is so dry that your lips start cracking because you keep licking your lips since they are drying out. Also Breathe Right Strips are seeming to work really well.

1) Indoor Help: Do things that let your heart beat faster without much physical or respiratory pressure (lungs and wind pipe) so your stress is distributed evenly throughout your upper body. When you lie down or work out you add pressure to one side of your upper body. For some walking down the stairs helps unblock the nasal. When you climb up the stairs your lower body takes the pressure and upper body doesn't. When you climb down your heart beats faster. Also, when you go to the roof top and approach the edge of the building and look down the heights your heart beats faster because when you have blocked nose or fever, you become physically weak. You would fear heights more than usual when you are sick. Heart beats faster and your nasal gets unblocked. 2) Sleeping Position: Switch your sleeping sides when you sleep. If your left nasal is blocked then sleep on your right. Your blocked nasal (left) gets unblocked and within seconds your right nasal gets blocked/fill. Then sleep on your left if your right nasal is blocked. Keep doing this repeatedly until you fall asleep. Slight elevated head pillow helps.3) Constantly blow your nose4) Cover your chest with cotton cloth and avoid drawing bed sheet/blanket over your face causing you breathing difficulties.

It's horrible for me to sleep, especially when I have no remedies on hand and I don't want to sleep with my mouth open, because that leads to an even more sore throat. Plus, when I lay down my nose shuts and I sit up in a scared panic because it feels like someone is suffocating me. Thank gosh tomorrow is New Year's Eve because I barely go to sleep on NYE anyway.

Switch head positions When you sleep. If your right nasal is blocked then turn left while you sleep. Keep your left ear against the pillow, but don't raise your chin to make your head position look parallel to the resting pillow. For better position use your hands to rest your head. Stay put for a minute, your blocked right nasal would get unblocked and relaxing can be sensed. Then your left nasal would get blocked/filled. You could switch sleeping position to the other side. Your blocked nasal should be above the blocked nasal when you sleep sideways. Ensure you have your upper body from your waist shoulder to your head taking same position.

Do ten to twenty push-ups. It isn't permanent but it should give you at least 10 minutes of free breathing before your sinus switches to one side only if both were stuffed, or to the one that was unclogged before if you were able to breathe out of one side earlier. However in rare cases it could stop clogging in general. Thank me later.

You can try push ups on your knees then. But I wouldn’t get my hopes high for push-ups as a solution to nasal congestion.

My friends, I have tried different methods and I suggest you to gargle with salt water and if you have a salt water spray, wash your nose with it, and most importantly, the more you sniff, the worse you get, so breathe normally . Don't pressure it. It is time-consuming and annoying to open, but it worked for me 😄

If your nose is blocked on for example the right side, lay to the left side and when u feel like it’s right sniff real hard and u should be able to breathe for 5 seconds
