    3:36 Treatment of Nasal polyps
Nasal polyps (NP) are noncancerous growths within the nose or sinuses. Symptoms include trouble breathing through the nose, loss of smell, decreased taste, post nasal drip, and a runny nose. The growths are sac-like, movable, and nontender, though face pain may occasionally occur. They typically occur in both nostrils in those who are affected. Complications may include sinusitis and broadening of the nose.
The exact cause is unclear. They may be related to chronic inflammation of the lining of the sinuses. They occur more commonly among people who have allergies, cystic fibrosis, aspirin sensitivity, or certain infections. The polyp itself represents an overgrowth of the mucous membranes. Diagnosis may occur by looking up the nose. A CT scan may be used to determine the number of polyps and help plan surgery.
Treatment is typically with steroids, often in the form of a nasal spray. If this is not effective, surgery may be considered. The condition often recurs following surgery; thus, continued use of a steroid nasal spray is often recommended. Antihistamines may help with symptoms but do not change the underlying disease.Antibiotics are not required for treatment unless an infection occurs.
About 4% of people currently have nasal polyps while up to 40% of people develop them at some point in their life. They most often occur after the age of 20 and are more frequent in males than females. Nasal polyps have been described since the time of the Ancient Egyptians.

i had surgery and for a year and a half, i was finally breathing normally and actually able to breathe out of my nose for the first time in 16 years. My face which had become slightly altered due to the amount of pressure from my sinuses had actually fixed itself after my surgery. However, my polyps came back as do most people, now im back to the way i used to be and my face is back to being weird again. Im hoping that steroid nasal spray will be my savior, the only thing is i will have to use it for the rest of my life, but hey if it'll get the job done. Im tempted to just use the steroid tablets because those work crazy good, however they are not safe to use long term and caused me depression.
Update: It may not be looking good, going in for advanced surgery because my condition has worsened, polyps may be spreading to my brain and has completely dissolved the bone behind my right eye and almost my left. If you have nasal polyps and they are really bad just do the surgery, doesnt matter the price or how many times you do the surgery just do the surgery, Dont wait, set it up immediately is my advice to whoever is reading this

Guys, here's the answer everyone is looking for on every nasal polyps video on how to diminish/get rid of polyps: stop eating SUGAR! Sugar contributes to polyps. I stopped eating sugar 5 weeks ago, and combined with some immunity enhancing basic vitamins, I have stopped my runny nose 99.9%. I only get congested mornings if I ingest something with sugar in it.
Diseases and viruses, most of them, can be cured by eliminating sugar from your diet. It's pretty simple....have a nice day.

I started having a runny nose, nose and chest congestion, coughing, sneezing 🤧 etc. back at the first of August. Never had any allergies. 51 year old male in great health grew up in the country. I let this go on for weeks trying all sort of old school cold remedies. Got tested for COVID-19 3 different time since and negative. Then diagnosed with the flu bronchitis and onset pneumonia and treated with all kinds of steroid shots and antibiotics along with two different nasal sprays. Prescription and over the counter. Given asthma pumps as well. I would get temporary relief but symptoms return. Out of the several doctors I have seen no one suggested looking up my nose! I finally suggested to my regular doctor after negative blood test that I wanted an allergy test! Got one coming on November 16! Will they look into my nose with a scope? I will suggest and tell them out of all the things I found that fit what I have been going through is Nasal polyps! Thanks for the video and replies!

Nasal polyps can indeed vary in their persistence. While they often require medical intervention for treatment, it's possible for them to regress or resolve on their own in some cases, especially in children. However, if you're experiencing severe pain on one side of your face along with the appearance of a new nasal polyp, it's crucial to consult with an ear, nose, and throat specialist or healthcare provider. They can evaluate the situation, confirm the diagnosis, and recommend appropriate treatment options, which may include medications or, in some cases, surgical removal. It's essential to address any new symptoms and seek professional guidance for your specific condition.

Persistent Sinus problems with or without nasal polyps or candida / yeast infection on the tongue could be an early warning sign of a bigger future problem. Please do NOT ignore this advice. Do a medical check-up for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) as your symptoms may be originating from a form of Hiatal Hernia and/or an H. pylori infection ( I had to do an endoscopy with biopsy to confirm this as it did not show in my blood or stool even though it was in my stomach). You would be surprised how problems with your gastrointestinal tract affect your overall well-being. Other symptoms may include Anxiety, vertex headaches, chest discomfort, shoulder and neck tension/ discomfort, unexplained weight loss and difficulty gaining weight, iron deficiency, anemia, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, loss of appetite, shortness of breath, sudden severe cold (because of air trapped within the GI tract, palpitations (high pulse), high blood pressure especially at night or while asleep or even slightly low blood pressure,

If I can help someone here it goes. I tried everything to improve my breathing thru BOTH of my nostril. I been breathing thru one nostril for 6 months now and life been a struggle. If you having this issue, you know what I am saying. I went to see a ENT specialists and I was given the typical steroids and nasal spray (Fluticasone ). It didn't help at all. I bought a humidifier, nasal strips and net pot.. humidifier didn't work. Net pot and strips did clear my passages airway SOMETIMES but it still felt like I was breathing thru one nostril.. UNTIL on June 9th around 3pm.. I was in dollar general and decide to buy nasal spray but a different brand .. it called Rexall extra moisturizing in a orange box... I gave it a tried and immediately I can breathe thru BOTH nostril. I took a nap and woke up around 10pm and I slept good. Probably the best nap in a long time. I don't even care I slept to early which why I am writing this post at 1am (June 10th).. I can breathe again. I don't know if this temporary but I will keep everyone updated.. Rexall nasal Spray work. I will post this comment on several similar video to see if I can help someone.. I am not a doctor but this was my experience...
