Hiking the Great Glen Way in Scotland

In 2022, after hiking the Scottish National Trail, I hiked a few other trails in Scotland, including the 79 miles (127km) Great Glen Way.
It goes from Fort William to Inverness, following the Caladonian Canal, then Loch Ness for most of the trail.
Depending on the weather, you can choose between some high or low routes.

I see that you've walked the Cumbria Way. How was it? This one is definitely on the list of trails I'd like to hike in England.

The CW is a beautiful trail Gael, but being near the Irish sea and mountainous, the weather is often wet. Some people complain that the first and last days are boring but I still enjoyed them very much. I think you will enjoy my CW series too. 👍
