- Chris and I reunite post lockdown and head back to Fort William to begin a new journey of five days along The Great Glen Way. From Fort William to Inverness over 79 miles and with breathtaking views of Loch Ness, this was a much needed release after a stressful year.
Great video. Seen a few videos of people hiking this trail but you have done an amazing job of showing how beautiful the trail is.
Another great film. Thanks for the upload.
Excellent video, guys. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Makes me want to go back to Scotland so much! Beautiful video, Ian! :D
Great video guys! looks like you had a great time making it. ❤️
Cheers, Ian. Great job. I have to say, the way you simulated those drone like shots was a real bonus to the video. Thanks. 🙂👍
What beautiful sights and wonderful humour XD
Keep up the good work, Ian! :D
Loving this adventure. The 360 camera footage is amazing.
Once again, great video. Love your take on the various hikes you do (and Chris's of course). I haven't done the GGW as a continuous hike but have walked various sections when up there visiting family and feel some other CZcamsrs haven't done them justice!
Really nice hike! Thanks for sharing
Really enjoyed your video…top notch. Intrigued to find our more about the type of drone that you used..looked really good for the type of terrain and scenery
Many thanks. Actually no drone used at all. It was the Insta360 One X2 camera on a 3m selfie stick.
Well done lads, good trail vid 👍 I did the GGW a while back and my own set of videos. Just subbed 👍
Thanks for the sub!
Great trail video guys in hitting the route shortly. In September
Great trail journal as always thank you for taking the time to make it and share with us. I thoroughly agree about Laggan Locks being a highlight and having done both High and Low routes agree High is much better. Have you ever thought about doing Cape Wrath Trail or Hebridean Way? They are great trails.
Cape Wrath is definitely on the list for sure, but possibly not until 2023. All being well next year will be Everest Base Camp and Tour Du Mont Blanc. I'll need to look up the Hebridean Way.
@@TheHikeBegins I got the Labyrinth reference too, need to watch it again sometime!
I'm glad someone did! Chris and I quote it quite a lot!
Nice shots! What's the camera on a fishing rod set up you're using?😁
It's the Insta360 One X2. Great little camera.
