Her husband is going to direct and finish the movie.
My deepest condolences to Halyna’s loved ones ❤️ 💜 ♥️
Alec Baldwin shouldn't have spoken out in a TV interview prior to this being legally resolved. It's a bit self serving and disrespectful 😔🙏🏾🙏🏽🙏🏻

Big Mistake Alec!
Especially since he lied and said he didn't pull the trigger. Give me a break, he didn't pull the trigger. How dumb does he think everyone is?

The actors are trained to never point a gun at people. So. What exactly happened. Pointing it at them was wrong . Pulling the trigger not an accident.
He didn’t pull the trigger ? the trigger pulled him ! ! !
In single action revolvers you do not need to make a strong pressure for that. Just a bit is enough to shoot the arm.
And, in the other hand, Baldwin is right, he could not pulled the trigger AFTER he took the hammer back. Could be that he ALREADY was pulling the trigger when he took the arm and moved the hammer. And he was not aware of that since you need just a little pressure.
It is an accident.
There's something very wrong when a man who recklessly kills someone because he was too lazy and ignorant to check the weapon he was using wasn't loaded to says he feels no guilt. The wording sounds calculated to avoid taking any culpability. Very cunning!
oh yes its not like the armorer bears no responsibility at all.

Yeah..its weird how he didn't blame him at first...they did hire the 24 year old Hannah Guitterez to make sure there were no live rounds so she really bears sole responsibility..it was her job not the actor to check the rounds that's why they hired and paid her..if alec should be the one to check the gun then she would not have been hired.. the .24 year old is guilty as sin

Alec Baldwin should plead guilty to the charges out of respect for the husband and son. At least show them your sincere apologies by accepting responsibility.
There was nothing malicious here. Just many tragic mistakes.
I wonder why real bullets were loaded. Was that necessary? Did Alec know there was a real bullet in the gun? Who put a real bullet in the gun during a test shoot?
Regardless, one thing is very very certain… the entire shoot was reckless.
I had a roommate who bought a gun once and loaded “blanks” but it freaked me out when he pointed it toward me. That was reckless. Put it this way…. That whole situation did not go well, and he no longer lives with me because of it. You should NEVER take guns lightly. It only takes one stupid mistake. And that’s what happened here. A series of stupid mistakes.
I’m with you Matt!
Her poor son and husband, they don’t deserved their lives to be destroyed bc an actor chose to be negligent with the known safety protocols when handling guns. I can’t imagine having your mother being taken from you this way and the man who did it claiming innocence and walking away freely.
Was he negligent? Was the armorer? We have to find out first.
@@NemeanLion-
Respectfully, it doesn't matter the condition the weapon was in, hot or cold before it was in his control.
Baldwin fail to check the weapon for condition, empty, blanks or dummy rounds, let alone the live rounds that were in the cylinder of the Colt SA or clone, he should of check.
He pointed the weapon at people, cocked and pull the trigger.
Now, I don't believe for a second he did this with any intent or hate, but his own ignorances and lack of respect for a firearm has cause 1 persons death and another wounded.

@@mikeanderson3762 he’s not responsible because it’s not his job! Alec said he had a protocol, which was let the armour do their job and everybody else do their job.

And now he is an executive producer on the movie Rust and moved some new girl into his house...hollywierd baby!
The families feelings need to be heard & addressed. These people matter… This horrible loss is theirs.
The statement made by the attorney is false, he’s not a firearms expert & lacks the familiar competency with such style specific guns. If the hammer isn’t drawn back far enough the Transfer Bar won’t raise up enough to cover the firing pin. Any release of the hammer can strike the firing pin potentially causing a misfire. I should know, I almost shot my foot off with one replacing the weapon in its hip holster when the hammer snagged the loop guard slightly. It’s sad, it’s tragic, but the truth is mechanically it most certainly is possible. No matter how much anyone wants Alec to take the blame for pulling a trigger, you can’t circumvent the design of the mechanism & its structurally mechanical flaws. Proof evidence enough is when all the crime scene wizards online took initiatives to attack Alec, yet they all neglected to disclose/demonstrate the actualities of such an easy to recreate design flaw. All you have to do is video tape the hammer slip & the weapon will fire. If not the first time, eventually. It only took me once. The one & only misfire I’ve ever had & ever will, because I was informed inaccurately as the rest of these people are & are doing today through the spread of their spite. They live under a revolver misconception.
I’m very sorry for the family.

You seem to get all caught on on the trigger hammer thing. It's a mute point because these guns will be mishandled on set. That is a known fact. That is why they have a supposedly expert on set to make sure these guns are safe and can't hurt anyone while the actor has it in his hands, in this case practicing a draw, which includes cocking the hammer and pulling the trigger on a tight set. That live round got past the armorer and Dave who was supposed to have verified the gun was safe before it was handed to Bladwin.

Every time Alec Baldwin says he never pulled the trigger,I almost vomit. This man has been living in la la land Hollywood so long he thinks people will believe anything.
I understand how the family feels. But it would also be unfair for them to hold alec responsible only for the reason that he was the who who discharged the gun. It was a movie set. It wasn’t like he had all the intentions of killing someone prior to holding that gun.
People are saying alec should have double checked the gun. But there are people who are in charge of that. And though it would be good to be extra careful, the fact of the matter is, it wasn’t his responsibilty to do so.
Being famous isn’t the issue here. It’s about whose responsibilty it is to check the gun.
Regardless as well if he pulled the trigger or not, still he should be feee to do so. It was assumed that the gun was safe to use. It’s quite disturbing as well that they are focusing only on alec and forgetting that there is someone else responsible fo that.
If this is how we see the issue, then we might as well blame the people eating in restaurants should they be poisoned because of the wrong preparation of the food by the chef.

The problem is Alec is now stating the gun was faulty, but it wasn't. It was the armorer fault and he is trying to protect the one charged. What a horrible person he is.
There's a big difference between feeling badly/guilty and admitting responsibility.
So... I don't know why Alec couldn't just admit that he feels guilty when the person responsible is still whoever put live rounds in the gun.
So... in my mind, THAT person is responsible for her death, but Alec is guilty of killing her.
So... when ultimately the bullet killed her, then Alec doesn't even need to feel guilty, but he could at least admit to his own wrongdoing when there's evidence that a much greater fuckup had occurred on set.
The bullet is why she died, not because he pointed a gun and pulled the trigger.
Prop guns should be 100% fake. Foam or solid resin if you want greater detail and weight. Actors get paid HUGE amounts of money to act. So, they can ACT like the gun's real.

The total production arrangements arranged by Alec Baldwin is to do this.
It most certainly was not Alec Baldwin's fault, though I understand the family wanting to assign blame. The question for me is who put loaded guns and live ammunition on the set to begin with? Whose job was it to make sure nobody tampered with the guns? Wasn't there a person in charge whose job it was to make sure everything was safe? The actor has every reason to assume that it is a prop gun or at least certainly unloaded and safe. It was a movie involving firearms. I do not think it is the actor's responsibility. It certainly should be somebody's responsibility though to be in charge of the firearms. And it should certainly be somebody's responsibility to make sure there is somebody on set who is in charge of the firearms.

You hand a gun with open chamber with a finger in it. You take a gun with open chamber and the handlers finger in the chamber slipping yours in as you take possession.
