Hey dude great vid! Whats the range of the raveneye? I was thinking about buying one just to control my cam on range for taking vids of myself. Would that work?
@@user-dh5fp4gw1b that's a really good question, and I have no idea the answer to it. I haven't experienced any dropouts in the same room. This is probably dependant on your device's wifi range as you're using your device's wifi to connect to the RavenEye's wifi. So depending on how well your device can pick up that connection? I'll have to test that out with my iPhone!
@@keith-knittel its actually a pretty great idea like, lets say you want to take a pic for insta or something. Never do u have to use a remote for your camera anymore u can watch the screen and get a nice composition and just take the pic like that

Hey my Gimbal Wobbles the whole time and its unstable when i want to shoot on the ground....do u have the same Problems?

@@keith-knittel when I received my RS2 I searched CZcams for a video like yours and couldn't find anything that had so much good information. Everything mostly was an unboxing video from the typical people. Even DJI's page said "Coming Soon" on information. So your video helped a ton. Thanks again.

Nice work, Keith! I found your video very helpful and informative. Thanks for taking the time to show us the tricks of the RS2. Got any good tips on getting a quick balance? This is where I struggle and can take way too long to get this dialed in prior to a shot. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

The tips about locking the screen and turning a load of stuff off were great, as was the using the controls to get sports mode, which I prefer for more natural movement. Just got mine yesterday and really enjoying the improvements over the original Ronin-S, which has done me great service.

That role access on the front dial will be a game changer for me.

Great getting the list of shortcuts at the end. I have to agree - switch (almost) everything off and add in only what you need. Tech is designed to be feature packed, but it intrudes on usability. Thanks so much for this video.

I would really like DJI to make a moterized slider to work with this system.
I agree, Roger - I'd buy that in a heartbeat. Especially with active track and the Ronin app

I agree, I paid a lot of money for Edelkrone slider and Headplus and it’s nothing but trouble. I live in Canada and every time I’m out in the cold it fails. I’ll bet DJI could build something that really works well.
@@javajack-1 I have a dead simple slider that was ~€350 and I'm going to try balancing the RS over the centre of the railing using the extension arm/foot and a cheese plate - it should be able to track subjects using raveneye

The lock touch screen tip was it for me! That was my only complaint about the RS2... now it's perfect, thanks for that 😁👍🏾

Holding the mode and trigger at the same time was probably my favorite next to the disabling of the portrait and 360 modes.

Just got the gimbal after the Crane and Crane 2S....this is a sweet setup. The tips to turn off features not needed is quite useful. The entire video is good.
