Did you find this video helpful? Did this work for you? Thanks for watching! Likes and subs are greatly appreciated have an awesome day!
for me the games were working fine but the covers werent showing up for some reason, i watched this and now theyre working. thanks!
Hello my friend, excellent video! I have this problem, my gamecube games do not appear on the usb loader gx (latest version), but they appear on wiiflow and nintendont, both also in the latest version. I'll test it tonight and talk to you. Thanks!
Did this work for you?
Bro thanks mate its work finaly
OMG when I was watching your video, I said to myself, finally someone who has the same problem as me and I will be able to solve it, disappointment once I saw that you could modify the folder path, that's it which I cannot do, (I have sub8 written everywhere) because usbloader gx does not want to write anything on the SD card, so no modification is possible for the folders, and it does not create a configuration file either, I have bad luck, I tested several SD cards, I redid the hack several times, yet wiiflow works, in short it's been a week that I've been looking everywhere for a solution, you were my last hope (lol).
Just going through the motions.
Is your sd card formatted to fat32? And is the little locking tab on the left side set to unlock?
@@cornf3d Yes,
everything was done correctly ^_^
I read absolutely all the tutorials and explanations that I could find, I did everything correctly, it remains a mystery, if wiiflow was as good as usbloader GX I would have stayed on wiiflow, because it works no problem.
@@matieregrise7566 how is your files laid out on your SD card? Is it root > wbfs > game name [gameid] > gameid.wbfs?
@@cornf3d My games are not on sd card but on HDD on USB, it is FAT 32, then converted to WBFS using wiibackup manager.
it works with wiiflow, it's just usbloader which is causing problems with the SD card, the games also work with it, but I can't configure or save anything.
Thanks for your help.
@@matieregrise7566 I'll make a video and see if that helps
hello. I have a question regarding the paths. I recently received a 4tb hard drive with all the gb and Wii games but when I go to usb loader gx, it shows I have a full hard drive, but no games are showing up. do I do what you did in the example to get all the games to show up and play? thank you
Go to the top bar in usb loader gx and the 4th icon from the left and see if your wii and gc games are checked
Huge help man, much appreciated!
Loves these comments thanks so much! happy to help!
@@cornf3domg dude I’m surprised your still commenting on this old vid of yours, but I need some help with usb loader gx pls, if you help me I’m gonna subscribe and that’s a promise
@@AyoMonkee720 hahaha sounds good man i finally hit 100 subs working on video ideas xD but yeah whats up with your usb loader
@@cornf3dalright so when I boot up usb loader gx the games that are displayed in the usb loader gx are the regular Wii applications like mii channel, news channel, forecast channel, etc and it’s weird because before all this happen I only had four games in the usb loader gx menu, I could explain more better and show you some pictures on discord if you want
@@AyoMonkee720 okay cool hopefully this is easy so in the video at about the 4:50 min mark I selected the 4th icon over and it pops up with check boxes label wii games, gamecube games, emu channels and nand channels. Deselect everything except wii games and gc games and see if that fixes it!
There no image on my games when I go up to select loader mode I notice that wii games us unchecked when I put a check mark on wii games it tell me "USB DEVICE NOT INITIALIZED SWITCHING TO CHANNEL LIST MODE"" WHAT DO I DO???? PLS HELP
Make sure that you plugged your USB into the correct port on the back of the wii. The correct one is the USB furthest to the edge of the wii. Update me once you check
Off topic but what sonic game was on your vanilla menu, i dont think i recognize it.
Looks like mario and sonic winter Olympics
I think I messed up somewhere on the computer part for setting up covers cause when I try to load em on the console nothing shows up
So let's say you're using a hdd to store your games the folder lay out should be on your hdd as covers>2d 3d disc front full(all of these are individual folders) then all your covers should be in there if you don't have the cover then a super easy way to get em is to connect the wii to the internet press 1 on a game and download all the artwork. Hope this helps let me know how it turns out!
I have all the right settings and have Wii and GameCube games that work but I tried to add new ones and they don’t show up on the usb loader. Everything is on a SD card and the games show up on nintendont but not usb loader.
@@JustRobert1998 check out my other video called wii games booting back to wii menu and let me know if that helps!
also were is a video too fix or load isos games like create them marvel ultimate alliance
Are you asking how to load games/backups onto your hdd to play?
Can I have help? For some reason My GameCube games show up on the list and in the spin wheel but not in the GameCube section and when I load in, my screen goes black, I need help badly
Have they ever worked or did you just modded your wii?
Did you try setting up your custom paths like in the video? Is your hdd/USB set to fat32? Is your gamecube games set to .iso?
Whenever I load the GC games on USB GX Loader it doesn't work and it shows me that there's no signal.
Do they work in nintendont?
Does the wifi need to be connected to the wii in order for the loader to work prperly??
@@lupeq68 no only when it's being initially set up like when you down load your cios's
If my covers are working but i cant play the games, whats the fix? When i click knto them i just see black rather than the games startup meny and then when i press play/start i get sent back to the wii menu.
Try re-adding your custom ios's
selecting the proper path in custom paths.
Check to make sure your hdd cable is connected to port 0 the USB closest to the edge of the console
@@cornf3dThanks ill try that. By the way, my wii is a PAL wii but my wbfs files are us so how do i play them
@@MrDingusMcbingus ooooooohh thanks for reminding me also make sure that the folder lay out your games are saved on your hdd are as follows root: wbfs > game name [game id] > gameid.wbfs
@@cornf3d so like "wbfs Super Mario Galaxy [ID]ID.wbfs" ?
And also do I have to change my region to play the us version of the game? If yes ,how do i do that
For some reason my game cube games play but my Wii games don’t. Any reason why this is?
Have they ever worked? Are they saved to wbfs? Have you checked your custom paths?
@@cornf3d yes they did play before but I haven’t played it for 2-3 months
@@cornf3d and they are saved under wbfs and also checked my custom paths
Okay I have 2 guesses so far. 1st guess is your cios needs to be reinstalled or updated my 2nd guess is your hdd/backups saved on your hdd may have an issue I'm going to look into it a bit more for you and see what I can come up with
@Chris-xd1yt okay so I got a couple more hits on the reinstalling your custom ios's in d2x-cios I would give that a go and report back. If you need help on doing the reinstall let me know!
For me, the GC games show up in USB Loader GX (as well as their art) and run fine through Nintendont, but if I wanna load up a GC game through USB loader GX, I'm met with a black screen. Not to mention that WiiWare games boot me back to the Homebrew Channel or Wii Menu.
have you tried my other video on black screening?
@@cornf3d I'll give it a try.
@@TheGuyNamedSparrowAltAcc let me know if it works for ya!
@@cornf3d I tried and nothin' worked.
@@TheGuyNamedSparrowAltAcc Try this Go to Custom Paths scroll down till you see "nintendont loader path" should be towards the bottom, select it and set the path to where ever your nintendont is. Should be on your sd in your apps folder if its set up like mine.
i load into mario kart using usbloader gx or wiiflow game shows up shows cover but when i press a to play it just stays thereon mario kart main screen?
Mario kart wii? have you tried reinstalling cios or reinstalling the game?
I have three times
@@cornf3d I don’t have that
@@paulkyle4637 okay no worries so a few things i can think of is if youre adding the game through a saved backup to make sure the file format is wbfs and that its properly set or are you adding it directly via disc?
@@cornf3d i dl the game and converted it to wbfs and iso format and either do not work it loads and displays the title screen just no option to select to start playing the game
where to get covers
if you have a modded wii with games and no covers youll need to connect the wii to the internet, go to usb gx loader, go to the top bar click on the middle one with the horizontal lines itll pop up a cover download menu, check all boxes, click ok itll prompt you for all the download and let it do its thing itll take a while depending on how many cover arts you need but thats it! any further questions let me know!
Hi there, for some reason when I’m selecting the file/path, there’s no middle button at the bottom that allows me to swap path from SD to usb. Is there a fix to this?
Are you using just an SD? If you are using just an sd you won't have the second option and will to select the path on your SD
