  • **CONSULT WITH YOUR DOCTOR OR PHYSICAL THERAPIST BEFORE WORKING OUT IF YOU HAVE A SIGNIFICANT INJURY OR ARE RECOVERING POST OPERATIVELY**
    YES YOU CAN STILL WORK OUT WITH AN INJURY! I constantly had to have this conversation with patients. Just because you have an injury does not mean there aren't other things you can do to still stay active and get a good workout. In fact, if you are staying active, getting your blood pumping, and getting your brain and nervous system going, it will help with the recovery process. This video is an example of a great workout if you have an injury where you can only put little to no weight on your foot.
    This workout includes a lower body and core circuit.

      Is it to do with the sesamoids and please tell me how long it took to heal because mine has lasted 2 months

    I have nerve damage in both ankles.. always relied on cardio, running and dancing especially. I’m not kidding when I say I’ve probably watched 20 videos to find any type of exercise where i don’t need to rely on my ankle and this is the first channel that actually shows decent core workouts that can actually help when you’re injured. Thank you so so much🙏🙏💕

    Thank you. 🖤 Please do more workouts for injured ankles. Possibly a 30 min one we can do multiple days a week. I fell running and been unable to workout for weeks.

    This is the best video. Others I've tried either cause me more issues or don't work up much of a sweat, but this one actually really helps. I just wish you had more like it that were a little longer.

    Awesome! I just completed the work out! After a 15 min warm on the indoor rower. I'm grateful for this! I sprained my ankle on April 30 and I finally searched for workouts with a sprain. Thank you for this! Its true! You'll feel so much better when you work out! I believe I feel my endorphins revived! I'm heading back to the rower to do a Medium Concept 2 WOD.

    Recently sustained a minor ankle injury that has prevented me from doing to the intense HIIT and strength training I'm used to. I'd been struggling with how to still get an effective workout while not hindering my recovery or making the injury worse. So glad this popped up during my search for ankle injury safe workouts! It was short and sweet and I even worked up a bit of a sweat and got my heart rate up. It felt great. Thanks!

      Omg i feel you. I started on January 2021. And on January 31 I twisted my ankle I went half February without exercising. Towards end of February I started again. I still can’t do much but I’m glad I can get something done 😃

    YAAAAAY!!! I smashed your workout just 2 min ago with my healing big toe from an ingrown toenail removal from my podiatrist 2 days ago!! Ouch! I searched & searched for a workout that I would not put weight on both my feet & I'm so happy! I will most DEFINITELY repeat your workout tomorrow & even when I'm all healed up!     Broke my right ankle-Fibula on Feb 14, 2021 quad rollerskating. This is Day 9 post-op plate and screws and now in a rocker boot with some weight bearing on crutches allowed. Started your vid on day 5 after doing my own simple mat Pilates on my bed. Your program is great! Would like to see more vids until my
    next post-op follow up in 5 weeks. I can’t believe my calf atrophy in just 19 days😕.

    Thanks, this is brilliant! I had a left hip replacement in March and an opposite side ankle replacement in July (4 more weeks to go of non-weight-bearing.) I will be happy to use all of this! My butt will surely hurt less from lounging on the sofa, and I'll be in great shape once my boot comes off.

    Broke my right 5th metatarsal while training for a half-marathon. Inevitably I’ll lose some aerobic fitness, but this workout will help me at least maintain some strength and fitness while I recover. Thank you for this workout.

    I twisted my left ankle while doing a back lunge.. post which I couldn't be so regular on my workouts.. but just been doing upper body and core and very light leg exercise with no foot work.. but this really good.. will definitely try this tomorrow

    Comment #2: I'm using a walker and crutches, which are great for my upper body! I pad the grips with foam to spare my hands form a lot of unaccustomed pressure. I've been looking for ways to use both walker and crutches as exercise equipment intentionally and I haven't found anything. I can do dips on my walker, and I can use it as a barre for working my ankle-side hips, but that's about it. The crutches are still an exploration. (I'm not trying for Cirque du Soleil choreo, LOL! Just something that would be a fun challenge and not too high risk. The mental aspect of figuring these things out really takes the sting out of being grounded.) Thank you!

      @@aleats3866 I made the fatal error of playing basketball wearing running shoes (which I knew was a recipe for disaster). My foot rolled order my leg and hyperextended. Coincidentally this happened on the same day the Joe Biden fractured his foot with a similar injury except my brake is a little more severe. They put me in a walking boot as well.
