    Thanks. Got my cpu and cooler, now just waiting on MB. Lots of parts, but now I feel more confident. The install guide that came with it is hard to read.

    I'm lucky this video was uploaded just a few weeks before I bought mine. Very well made and straightforward, worked perfectly with a PA 120 white edition, ASRock B560M Pro4 motherboard and a Core i7-10700F CPU.

      How are the temps on your 10700F with this cooler? Can you test it with Cinebench R23 and let me know?

    My Thermalright instructions included four plastic spacers under the backplate, the longer heatpipe side faces away from the GPU.

    just bought this monster for my 8700k. it better freezes my cpu
    edit: now i can use my pc as a fridge. around 40°c on idle and 65°c playing cpu intensive games.
    motherboard: msi h310 pro vd

    Isn't that too much thermal paste?

      There's no such thing as too much thermal paste. It won't affect the thermal performance. More thermal paste will just mean that it will be pushed out at the sides; creating more mess.
