    Thanks for redoing the video I got the basic overview from the last one but this ones even better. I have the exact same parts that I'm ready to install this weekend so I'm thankful for your time to make this!

    This tutorial is awesome! I'm finally building another pc with my last one being from 2015, and I remember literally shaking out of fear installing the CPU cooler for some reason (i was 12...). This video really made me feel confident, this is so much easier with such a calm and cool tutorial. Thanks a ton!

    13:16 When you put a bracket on you should make sure that both screws are placed like the one to the right. The holes in the bracket for the screws are larger than they needs to be, so place them like the one to the right and keep a finger on the brackets mid and gently pressure the bracket in the opposit direction of the CPU to keep it in place while tightening the screws, then it will be lined up perfectly :)

    Great video! Just ordered all the parts for my new pc. Can't wait to install this cooler on my Ryzen 7 5700x. I've heard great things about it! On my current build, I am using a 120mm aio and I freaking hate it. Even after putting a Noctua fan on the radiator, idle temps are at like 38-42 on my current 3700x. So this time around, I want to try something else and the Peerless Assassin looks like my kind of cooler!

    The instruction manual is probably one of the worst I've ever seen. Most of us noobies are probably here because of that. 😅 Edit: And see? Turns out I did my fans in reverse... So you've saved me a good amount of time (and possibly hardware) because of your aside about fans! Thanks.

      @@PC_HardwareTechUnboxing_1 you did a video on the vetroo white cpu rgb fan and was wondering what cpu you were using or socket you installed the fan on because I mistakenly bought the black one and they said it supports sockets LGA 1100 through 1700 but My board doesn’t support my socket, plus there is a heat-sink on my gigabyte board that gets in the way of the thick heatsink where it will sit on top of it

    a nice video. thanks :) but your cooler is on a bit askew ... we have the much better vantage point and so can easily see vs your view. But the initial brace does not make contact with the mounting frame. The other side did. It is 9 months later tho ... :)

    Nice. Is true that we cant mix, that cooler fans argb with the case fan rgb? They need to be separated? Maybe yes. I use the rgb case to control the colors but I cant change the colours from argb cooler.

    What's the max cooling capacity this cooler is capable of in your opinion?? 13600k, 13700k, 13900?

    • @PC_HardwareTechUnboxing_1
      @PC_HardwareTechUnboxing_1  Před rokem +4

      I don't think I ever saw an exact TDP for this...multiple numbers between 125 to 245 to 265 Watts. That said, I would think it is slightly north of 200W. Performing better than a Noctua NH-U14s, but not as well as Noctua D15. For the price, this cooler represents an amazing deal for pretty much any locked 13th gen CPU or any 12th gen CPU (locked or unlocked). That said, for benchmarks with no OC, but power limits set to unlimited....it is only good enough for the I5-13600k. 280mm or 420mm AIO seems to be what is needed for the other two to not get thermal limit throttling.
      For normal computer work, this cooler would keep them all cool.
      For gaming, temps might run a bit warmer with the latter two, but in a well cooled room and case, I don't see it being a problem. This would be with default settings, no OC, power limits set to where there is no power limit throttling. I don't believe I have tried this CPU with the I9-13900kf.
      Currently, I have the I9-13900kf with a D15s with 3000RPM Noctua fan
      I9-12900ks with Peerless Assasin 120 SE
      I5-13600kf with Frost Commander 140
      I7-13700k is sold
      I9-12900kf is with the Thermarlright 6 pipe 120 single tower
      ...not trying to run any OC's on these.

    • @PC_HardwareTechUnboxing_1

      If you order this from Amazon, you get mounting plates for the Intel, brackets for intel and AMD...spacers, nuts ...and of course the cpu cooler and fans.

    Is a dual tower design necessary for an R7-7700 no overclock?

    • @PC_HardwareTechUnboxing_1
      @PC_HardwareTechUnboxing_1  Před 8 měsíci

      65W TDP CPU's definitely don't need dual towers....a good 120mm single tower cooler will work just fine. If not, there are other issues with the build.

    Hey guys, my fans are like his(same direction) but the fan that sits on the ram for him, sits on the mobo brick for me. So basically the fan that is on the most right side for him is on the most left side for me. Should I move the fans to be like his or am I good?

    • @PC_HardwareTechUnboxing_1
      @PC_HardwareTechUnboxing_1  Před rokem

      Hello, I don't have my TUF B660m anymore, but don't see this as a problem. I have installed this one on about 12 motherboards. I recently had it on a Gigabyte B620m with no issues. The only problem comes in when you try to release the GPU from the PCIE slot...this is occasionally painful with any of the big dual tower cpu coolers.
