The ability to use car charge points in city's and country areas would be more beneficial, and allow for a longer range.
BMW are planning to with their new one.
Id ride one all day long for commuting to work, the perfect tool, no puns please ....
I guess that with the removable battery there is scope to upgrade in the future for better battery technology. This is something I think someone should consider before purchasing or ask silence if that's their plan.
It certainly makes it easier for manufacturers to upgrade the batteries.
Looks a handy tool! 👍
Looks like this is a serious contender for commuting especially if there is the ability to charge at work.
It sure is.
I'll be surprised if within a year or so I don't trade in for the SO1. Until then I will enjoy my Vespa 300 HPE and for shorter city type rides my NiU pro.
Funny you should say that my vespa 300 just got stolen and I have ordered one of these as its replacement
@@rightsideofthecamera how do you like it after 6 months. My driving is mostly commuting max 30miles per day. I think it could be brilliant
@@chrisw4215 it's really good through traffic, I do just over 30 miles a day too and it is a great replacement for my vespa. And it's brilliant having much more storage under the seat, so handy 👍
@@rightsideofthecamera that’s great to hear, how it behaves on wet roads and cold condition? And is it doable to charge it every second day doing 30miles daily?
37 mile range in sport 😬. Most of my 46 mile daily ride is 60mph /70mph roads. Stairs up to my flat and to up at work . Damn damn .
They’re not really made for folks who do proper commutes I’m afraid.
And mine just 20 miles both ways, so sport mode for me all the way!...not mentioned I can charge it for free at work.
@@serge470 I need to closer ! Do you have one ?
@@nickclarkuk I'm currently riding my electric bicycle and have petrol scooter Honda Forza 300, but think about electric scooter as well. But I'm not rushing there supposed to be Yamaha e01 on the way.
@@nickclarkuk I've got one on order. Commute is 14 miles each way to and from central London, can't wait.
Any Software hacks for this scooter ?
with about a grand worth of obd devices and cables you can derestrict top speed from 62 to about 80
My only question is how good does it sound? 😂
Is this scooter suitable for riders over 6ft tall?
Yes I’d say so.
Yes I’m 6ft 5 and I got one
When people put out range on e- scooters they should add temperature. Remember there are big difference between north Europe and South. The same with America..
Still can't afford 1 bike for commuting and 1 for long distance so petrol it will have to stay for now!
Breaks seem Fennominel 😀
Brakes 🤔
@@kevindarkstar 🙄 typo
When they can hit 70mph with a 150 mile range I'll be interested, they are getting for for sure,
Then it's not gonna be a scooter isn't it ?
@@Matttski The battery can be removed like a suitcase and be charged in the home in 8 hours for around £1.
Just hired one of these for 99 euro a month and I am overly impressed with it
regen braking ;)
Very expensive for 125 scooter and the outside remove battery is easy to stollen
Im sure it locks wkth the scooter. Also you can take it with you if you want
Same price as honda forza 125 and others
@@brianlinney2775 that is why they don't sell even one unit at least to my country. With this amount of money you have so many options for 300cc scooter and a small motorcycle
@@manoliss9554 plenty of people have forzas so its not a price issue. Its a petrol/electric choice matter. You cant ride a 300 on an A1 license either
@@brianlinney2775 look we must know what we talking about. My first comment was about an electrical scooter that is equal in power to 125cc petrol engine. You mention a forza. The 125 forza doesn't cost 7000 euro that is cost this electric, this is the price of the 300forza. Now if the conversion is electric or petrol it depends how the use and the klm per year
47mph+ through a 30 zone !! Watch your speed man !!
Pa nije vozio 100 mph , to je tolerantno 20 mph razlike
