Child when i heard the word TRIP, i screamed cuz i knew where she was going😂😂😂 Lord, please send my cousins to Africa on a couples or group trip so Tab can experience the safari & Chance can sit it out & enjoy all the rest of the trip. Amen!
What I've learned from this episode is that Tabitha is a visionary. She will take a risk on something through blind faith and determination. She's fearless and intuitive.
Chance seems more grounded and logical and methodical in his approach.

I would choose to reframe the words as good better and best. My elementary school principal always had a saying. “good, better, best. never let it rest until the good is better than the better is best“.
I learned this same quote in Michigan while I was waitressing at Kerbys’ Coney Island. I use it as daily motivation

Chance God gave you gifts (one of them is to sing) and just because you don’t feel like your voice ain’t great compared to someone else’s voice doesn’t mean that your voice is not a gift that God gave you and its great. Age ain’t nothing but a number so let your gift make room for you and don’t put yourself in a box or God. God bless you and Tab. Love what you all do.

Talents are definitely gifts because everyone doesn’t have the ability. Some ppl can’t even hold a note Unc. I feel like Work and Time goes into making your Gift Great. Some ppl naturally just have it to where they can blow and knock down anything. But those people you named had the gift and they made their gifts PHENOMENAL. The Gift is the substance.

Ya'll really hit home with this topic, I have started a candle business about two years ago, in memory of my mom who passed away, but I've put it on pulse because to me, it wasn't good enough . People have told me how good my candles smell and how long they burn, but to me, they're not good enough. No matter what I do, it must be perfect. Nobody wants to help me with anything because it has to be perfect or it's not good enough. I can't understand why I don't believe in myself and know that my candles are awesome.

There are times when we should be "perfectly OK" with our "imperfections." The key is recognizing and accepting that we do have imperfections, but then strive each day to be better and do better in that particular area in our life.

When I heard the piece about showing respect to those with the gift and it potentially being hamful to others...the first thing that came to mind was the example about nature. One flower will not choose to bloom less because there is a prettier flower blooming in the area. It will bloom no matter what....there is space for all.
Look at how God work. I'vee been hesitant to take up space and this is exactly what I needed to hear ❤

This episode was for me. I consider myself a perfectionist in some areas. I feel it has to be calculated, and I need to KNOW the plan before execution. I admire free-spirited people that are not overly concerned about the opinions of others. That is freedom.

I love to say doing my best. Which may vary at times but the goal is to always strive to do my best. Perfection can cause stagnation and paralyzation in my life. Grateful to have and continue to overcome the desire to be perfect.

Chance, you're right. I have tried and joined the dance ministry at my church several years ago. I stopped because I wasn't that good to me. I do praise dance in my place of residence . Getting in front of people and being on point, while a bunch of people are watching; it's a whole different world.. Asked to rejoin " nicely declined ". 👍🏼

I agree with Tabitha and will say this, I know Chance from playing basketball at 24 hour fitness and I know he could have played in the NBA and he could be a superstar singer so in reality, you cannot play in the NBA at 45 but what you can do now that your wife is so famous and well connected, and you remain a gifted and talented house singer, with all due respect, go get your butt in the studio and record a cover or record your own song and put it out on your social media, just for fun and see what happens!!! Your fans of you both personally will love your musical expression and you have NOTHING TO LOSE!!! I respect the heck out of Tab and Chance so like NIKE, just do it!!!
