This is one of the most fun decks you’ve done in a while! Really loved this one, would love to see it go the full 5-0 after sideboard changes!

The funny thing is at the beginning of the video I was like, "maybe he should have 1 basic swamp". Also cutting something for maindeck removal would go far. I remember back in the day we ran Dispatch with affinity.
You'd think WotC would be wary about printing anything that remotely enables Affinity. It breaks everything it touches. This deck was super impressive, loved all the times you were able to chain together 4+ cards off of Satoru+Affinity dorks

Oh daddy! We came up with almost the exact same list, I think adding 2 or 3 Cranial Plating is good dropping a synthesizer so that your ornithopters and thought monitors become serious threats too

I'd wait 3 weeks to see if Satoru gets banned cuz if Up the Beanstalk is ban-worthy, then I'd imagine Satoru is also on Wizards' radar! Although, Satoru does die to bolt!
One of the reasons I decided to only play affinity for the last few years and getting to finally top eight a 1k with it is because of daddy. Now he nuts out a even more fun version to play❤❤❤
Just a thought: casting anything without haste before combat generally gives more info to the opponent before the attack step and opens you up to Cryptic. I usually try to hold spells to MP 2 if possible for that reason (unless there is a benefit to MP 1 play)

Satoru seems good. He draws off quite a few things - I want to revive the old hotness and play him with Cryptic Coat.
Thoughts on Walking Ballista? It cycles with Satoru and can be used for removal if you put mana into it.

I been playing affinity with synthesizer since release but adding Saturo (or how every you spell it haha) I haven’t looked back haha soooo good definitely went with a dif sideboard but to each their own lol but I tried a W/U and a U/G affinity but dimir seems best with the new toy lol but portable hole and pick your poison is nice in both builds but at the end of the day mystical dispute an metallic rebuke seems the key to solving the main issues

Free spells and card draw. A combination that has never caused problems in the past.
I hope Halo Hopper works, apparently there's a glitch that was making it so that Hogaak didn't trigger Satoru so it may effect Halo Hopper too

Up the beanstalk is the new bridge from bellow; It payed for the crimes of wotc egregious card design philosophy; Up the beanstalk would never be an issue if 2024 magic didn't see mana cost as a suggestion and gave a ridiculous amount of cards a built-in way to cheat it
Whether or not this ends up being a breakout deck, it looks really fun
Maybe put in erayo soratami ascendant? You easily cast more then 3 spells and she really gets you the win as soon as you pop off.

I'm currently trying to brew Esper Humans with Satoru (Since it not only triggers off of Aether Vial, but also runs Solitude + Ephemerate and Extraction Specialist + Charming Prince combos).
Satoru is absolutely cracked for 2 mana (Especially since it has enough toughness to stand against Bowmasters). I'm wondering just how much more MH3 is going to break the card.
Sometimes I wonder if KCI, mycosyth lattice, and mox opal can return with how much power creep the format has experienced. Not saying bring all 3 back at once but surely opal can at least come back.

The thopter sword combo is pretty good at beating murktide so you could possibly sideboard into that, although maybe that's changed since they started playing more hate for this deck specifically. Or maybe just play Sai? Shrug.

It is pretty gangstar! I'd definitely wait for prices to come down for the new cards cuz they're sooo expensive right now. Plus, MH3 is coming this summer, so there might be more shake-ups in the metagame!

Aethervial seems pretty hot with satoru. Maybe there's a human deck that profits off of him with coco/kayla's reconstruction/break out. There's a lot of ways to make him do stupid stuff.

If all sets were as loaded with powerful cards as Outlaws with Furry Kids in Boxes is Magic would explode from power creep within a year or two. A powerful set was desperately needed to invigorate multiple formats, which Outlaws at Thunder Disfunction did, but now WotC has a massive dilemma. How to they go back to balancing sets where they aren't power creeping every format to oblivion while making sure the lower powered sets don't send the stock tanking even further. At least it will be fun to watch and we'll get some stupid fun cards along the way. You know, until every format becomes 2 people playing degenerate solitaire together for 30 second matches.
