@@taniakyriakou1823 it depends. Actually we don't like it to much yellow. So I would just use a little bit of turmeric like 2 to 3 pinches. Then i would add more spices then Lisa used which is self explanatory as she's not from India, she might not have access to all the spices. And then in the gravy, i would not use canned or tomato puree just chop down some organic tomatoes(those have diff taste) then add some dried mango powder. And about the Blender part, i personally like to use colander it makes it more smooth. And the butter, always goes at the end after cooking everything for extra glossy effect. That's it. Hoped that helped a little ☺️

This looks delicious . I would love to see the tikka masala recipe at some point . Thanks so much for drawing that distinction between different types of chillies used while preparing this curry. Chillies aren’t native to india they were introduced by the Portuguese in the 17th century. It’s sometimes hard to explain to people that authentic Indian food is full of flavour not always hot . You probably would’ve seen this in your travels to India. Travelling from
one part of the country to another means a complete transition in culture and cuisine. There’s so much diversity. I’m so looking forward to trying this out. Much love from an Indian Australian ♥️

I PUT MORE THAN THE AMOUNT/MEASUREMENT OF THE SPICYS, CAUSE I HAD ALOT MORE CHICKEN BREAST, AND DIDNT WANT THEM TO GO BAD. I USE TO MAKE BUTTER CHICKEN ALOT, FOR MY HUSBAND. BUT THE BEST BUTTER CHICKEN THAT I USE TO MAKE, CALL FOR ABOUT 30 PLUS DIFFERENCE SPICY FROM THE INDIAN GROCERY STORE. THEN MY HUSBAND WOULD HAVE TO TRANSLATE WHICH SPICE WAS WHICH. NOW I DONT HAVE TO DO THIS, CAUSE I GOT THIS FROM AN AMERICAN. SO NO SERCHING ALL OVER GAWD KNOW WHERE, LOOKING FOR ALL THE INGRE. KEEP UP THE THE GOOD RECIPES. IM ALREADY A SUBSCRIBER.🥰🥰🤗🤗

Try adding a pinch of dried fenugreek leaves( kasuri methi), crushed between your palm before turning off the cook top, it will take it to another level.

Hi. I'd love to try this recipe. May you kindly advise, what can I substitute with for heavy cream? Maybe full cream milk or any other?
It looks so delicious, I can't wait to cook this butter chicken.
I've tried so many soups of your and came out just tasty. Thank you so much.🎉❤😅

Looks delicious. My Pakistani Mum tells me it's authentic. Too often butter chicken in the UK has fenugreek and other unnecessary spices added to it when in fact it's a simple dish with great flavours.

Yes, you can use tofu if you'd like. But maybe use a bit less marinade so the tofu doesn't get too soft. And yes, vegan butter and full-fat coconut cream.
