My favorite part is that Skill is trying to show that regular tanks are also still playable and have their way in WoT

Happy about your commentary regarding inexperienced players. I only have time to play 1-2 times per month for a couple of hours. I just want to enjoy my games, do more than 0 dmg and relax.

This is one of my pet peeves, guys who can't figure out they need to cap fast. Only bested by guys who start capping in the dying moments when the timer shows you will get it done and then decide to run off to find the enemy and secure a draw instead of a win. I am still haunted by one such incident.
Screw that KanJPanz, Skill is alot more tolerent than me, ive had asshole players like that ruin the little bit of time i get to play this game, they are selfish pricks who would rather lose the game for everyone to get 0.1% up on their MOE, its litteraly "Unsportsman Like Conduct" and id be reporting him in that game.
I am a bit selfish in that way, tbh. One more shot of damage is worth more to me than the win. I understand that mine is an unpopular opinion, but I play the game for me, not the team.

This ist the most stupid thing i heard in a month. One or two shots more will give you not really much. A win on the the other hand gives you so much more credits and XP, especialy when you are one of the cappers, because capping points also give XP. Always go for the win, YOU and your t

@Martin Breu It's a matter of what is important to you, I guess. Credits and exp are not really priorities for me either. Damage/spotting damage are all I really care about. Don't usually get any of either sitting in a circle.
It's such a wounderful tank and it can also overmatch the premium BZ turret roof.

I hate this tank with all my heart, couldn't bounce when it mattered, I even make more dmg per battle with t34-85, than with this big shit, but its probably the reason why I avoid big slow super heavy tanks when I can.
@@Raph4297 Exactly.... I really hate this bloody hunk of garbage and can't wait to be done with it... 50 000k xp to go. Last 3 battles with 0 damage and in the last one a bloody GSOR that I couldn't see just kept penning me and I couldn't do anything about it. No wonder I'm the only one playing this thing on the battlefield. I have not seen another one since I started griding it again a week ago. And when you do manage to win a game the battle is over before you even got close to it... People have so few respect for this thing that don't even shoot gold at it.

One of my favourite T8 tanks. I went back and bought one along with a Tiger P during the recent Maus top of the tree.
It is one of the best T8 heavy tanks. Only drawback is the low speed... but other than that, I love it!
The Tiger (P) is also a gem that everyone should give a try!

The thing i like at this tank was what skill is saying .. additional opinion of mine was the tank was a superheavy and it does that it bounces it trades and most of it, it burns the time of the opposing team if not taken out right away.
I love vk 100.01 P its was my first super heavy, had some very good games in it.
Some people would rather lose the game and get an extra 0.1% to their MOE, that KanJPanz 105 is dumb.
It's really not the players fault the game encourages losses to get campaigns/missions/moe easier done
@@Vorrez I mean, your not wrong, and while in some ways i wish theyd fix that, if they introduced win or losses effecting MOE that would be fucking aweful lol, so yes i agree, but also, players should find a balance, help your team win while gaining a good amount of MOE, instead of, litteraly throwing a won game to get an extra 200 dmg or something like that, cause thats just plain bullshit and your an asshole if you do that

Nope, not dumb. They wanted to check the bushes near the cap to make sure they don't get decapped. Their huge mistake was not greed, but that they misjudged the time and didn't take the risk of just going into the cap (and forgot that skill would already have gotten spotted if there was someone in the bushes).

I've only gotten to T-8 and after a lot of lesser tanks, this one is simply amazing. Routinely block 2.5 - 5k damage. Also love like how you used it, in the right scenario you can just sit in the middle and spot for the entire team. Truly an epic tank.
I like seeing new players. I don't like people making them feel bad, because they'll stop playing.

Fun fact, I am going to grind this tank to complete t28 htc blocking 2x hp mission, yet maybe on the 10th game on the vk 30.01 P, I managed to complete the mission itself. I think it's true about most people opinion, that on block mission you need RNG to pity you and give you those muppet enemies, you can even done it in an unexpected tank. The most contributing factor of this mission compeletion was that I bounced a kv 2 who fired 700 dmg AP, and bounced 4 times Panzer IV who derp me with AP despite not peneterating 😅

i have the superheavy spal liner on my VK100 . works great against arty and bz176. most tier 8 arty hits for 0 damage and bz does like 100 damage.
Just so you know, the super heavy spall liner does nothing against non-arty HE, there were some tests conducted by dezz, wich indicates that

Only 10 or 12 games in since fully upgraded but already love this huge brick on top of a cinderblock tank, with a crew only a bit better then yours!

When it first went in to the game I thought it and the T9 were shit. Then when I finally started grinding for the Maus, I was pleasantly suprised. Both the T8 and T9 are pretty decent tanks.
Edit: 400m base view range on the T8 is very nice. I used coated optics when I played through it and got a bunch of random spotting almost every game.

Skill your father really works in WoT, if i have to say my experience with T8 in SA server 90% against tier 10 and 10% againt T9. In NA server let say 70% of the games are against highr tiers. If i am very lucky one game per day is with the same tear. Lower tears perhaps once a week?

Right.. top tier this tank is very nice. In my last 50 battles I had this 2 times..
Lower plate and cupola of this tank are basically magnetic. No amount of moving or angling seemed to help much for me. If you get to a position on a left corner, hull down that tank is awesome, otherwise your armor is not much of a factor. Tiers 9, 10 and most tier 8 will chew through you like nothing. Also I personally somewhat prefer the stock gun, as it has higher dps and better handling. Apart from that it's a good tank. Unlike its predecessor Tiger (Pathetic).

I just got the tank 4 days ago and was having a hard time understating why am I being farmed ffs!
I was playing this tank while it was ToTT, I played around 50 battles and I’m not joking 40 of them was against higher tiers… only 2 out of aprox. 50 I was top tier playing against lower tier. This thing frustrated me a lot… The rest of battles was tier 8 battle, so for me this tank doesnt have any armor because every tier 9-10 tank with gold can pen you like theres no tommorrow…. Well I know this tank is not bad or something but I was just insanely unlucky with matchmaking.

Simply imagine if tomorrow morning, every player found out that there was a secret overnight patch that changed gold ammo, so that penetration was raised, but alpha was lowered equally, different calibers can have different ratios of differentiation, etc. It’s a whole new and exciting game again.

This one is fine , the Maus on tier X is super hard play now ,there's too many HEAT with 340 mm easy pen even 45 degree .
skill, would hp + rammer + vents be a good setup for this? i am not too bothered by the speed on this tank so i am debating between vents or turbo
I went with vents, do to a 2 skill crew, but then I also play a lot of T95/E3 so speed is a lower issue for me as well. Happy hunting no matter which you choose!

Capping usually shows you perfectly how many people fail at basic math.

HATED! the KV-4 could of been a good tank but that massive weakspot on the roof made it unplayable as everytime i sidescraped they just shot that damn spot, VK ive played against and its very strong especially when angled, IS-M< not played but looks like a one trick pony but very hard to dig out when it has a nice position.

Only thing worse than not realizing that capping is the best option, are guys capping WAY too early taking their guns out of the match.

One of my favourite tier 8s as well, when it's on the enemy team! Talk about a meatball... It's free xp and I don't understand how anyone can like it. It is the same story with the Mäuschen. They are just two big jokes in front of the mighty Maus that WG introduced obviously to force you to convert your free XP!
VK is a good tank... weakspots are strong against many gold rounds as well
Tier for tier its a strong tank, but as Skill has said, the moment you get +1/+2 mm, its a pain to play.

For me i can make this tank work really well.

can anyone tell me why he lost the 2nd match? i played WoTBlitz but forgot everything so i am curious how they draw at the end while having 1 extra frag above the enemy team and more health aswell and teammates left over
They have to kill everyone or cap before the 15 min time run out, otherwise will be a draw

Funny how the clock stopped the game immediately, but when two caps are really close, the clock will reach zero but the game continues for another 5 or 6 seconds, causing a draw.
I like the VK100 but am surprised you have the Mauschen rated as bad as it plays almost the same way but with even better armour and in my opinion better than the Maus
I found the mauschen painful , it’s slower and the armour felt worse tier for tier

Actually Scorpions can penetrate you into the turret with gold easily, yesterday one destroyed my dreams about completing bouncing mission by farming my turret across the map :(

I would really stop recommending this tank for bounce missions. It's paper for tier 8s and up slinging gold ammo. And the problem is people keep recommending it based on "in a tier 6 downtier it's free HT12". Yet those games are insanely rare and over quickly these days. I ground through this tank in like 90 games and got tier 6 matchmaking 3 times. I kept track.

its only any good if you are ever as lucky as the CC's to get a t6-t8 games and yes im not one of them - i tried bounce mission again for the umteenth time and got nowhere near it fighting 8's and 9's and then the rest of games against t10's i had a better attempt on the KV4

Iron Arnie has 300mm of gold pen and Panzer 58 has 261. On regular amo is 212 vs 230. This is totally ridiculous how german vehicles are underpowered. They are accurate but its accuracy is only on stats, it is not there on the game play, useless. For compensate Panzer 58 has infinitly less armor. Wargaming balancing is a bad joke.
Honestly the lower gun feels better on the tank the shell velocity is super painful on the 440
